Hi everyone, i just want you to know about what i had experienced with delbros about my document verification. i paid the 650.00 to metrobank on feb. 12. my interview was on Feb. 19. we have been waiting for the visa for 3 weeks now but sad to say, we have been waiting for nothing coz i found out that my document is not yet forwarded to the NSO for verification. i called arvie at delbros and asked him if my document is already forwarded to NSO. but he said not yet coz delbros still waiting for the print out or the summary coming from the embassy. this print out is the lists of names whose documents will be forwarded to NSO for verification. he said that he already sent the confirmation of my payment to the embassy on feb. 12.

then, i called ms. grace at the embassy and she said that my document is already forwarded to delbros on the last week of february. i was so worried, where my document goes if not to debros, does it go somewhere else? thats why i called arvie again, and he found out that my name was listed on the unpaid cases.

i asked him, have you checked on that lists once in a while and he said yes...i told him if you did, why you didnt see my name there, is my name hiding somewhere thats why you didnt see it? he cant answer.

but anyway, my document will be forwarded to the NSO this coming monday feb. 17. coz according to arvie, NSO only receives documents every monday.

so, guys out there who have problems with document verification..always follow up delbros if they already forwarded your document to NSO. arvie's local # is 104. if your document is not yet in NSO ask arvie if he already received the print out or the summary from the embassy and have your name listed on it. and also call grace at the embassy and ask if they already forwarded your document to delbros.

just to make sure that you are not waiting for nothing.... as i did...better to do some action now before its too late..

they have no right to commit mistakes...or else it will cause alot of problems..it lost hundreds of dollars for the people who already have the visa, delays....etc.. like me it is almost one month since my interview and yet my document is hiding somewhere in delbors..

embassy must change their carier service provider. and must upgrade their procedures in regards with receiving from delbros a confirmation and sending to delbros the information...in my case both the embassy and delbros were responsible and did the mistakes..

so good luck to all of you..

and god bless us all!!

my apology for making my email too long..

Sorry to hear about the delay. Hang in there. I must say, I am one of those who are lucky not to have the document verification process during our application. I guess they are getting more strict about documents, not to mention that the fees are increasing like crazy. Goodluck and keep the faith, you will be here very soon.

I keep reading these posts about the NSO and doc ver, and now it is my greatest concern of the process. I didn't even consider it an issue until this week because we paid on time. However, I found out that Delbros has our info and will deliver it to the NSO next Monday, the 17th. Now that is 11 days prior to our interview. Anyone know how I could ensure that the process is complete prior to the interview? Or do you think I have nothing to worry about?

I hope you get some action and answers to troubles soon Tweety.

Hi,

i got arvie's local # because i kept calling delbros, maybe the woman got tired thats why she told me to tell the guard to connect to local 104 so i can directly talk to Arvie.

according to ms. grace at the embassy, the document verification started last november 2007.

"This is a standard measure adopted in Manila to ensure that there are no unterminated marriages in fiancé(e) cases. There is no divorce in the Philippines , and getting an annulment is both expensive and time consuming. We regret that the high level of fraud in this area requires us to take these extra steps to ensure that there are no concealed marriages in fiancé(e) cases, and that unknowing American citizen petitioners are not taken advantage of". - email from the embassy.

yes, it is true, we do not disagree on that. but our concern is the procedure of delbros to send the confirmation to the document verification at the embassy and vice versa. they should have a systematic procedure. or they should hire another person coz i think arvies does not perform his job well. he is the root of all the problems...

if he makes mistakes the whole flow will be affected...

i hope we can bring this to delbros management...

this is a serious matter..
