Wow! Someone that's been waiting longer than me (by 10 days). Right, that means I can't piss and moan too much about my own case too much (I probably will though!!)

I wish we all got NOA2 at the beginig of August

Cuz i'm really going crazy day by day

Tbf, there are people even worse off than us. Some poor sod on the OCTOBER thread is still waiting! Still doesn't make it any less irritating for us, mind. I was gonna call them yesterday using the "cheat sheet" that cwaf gave me, but I'm gonna give it until 21st August, which will make it exactly 6 months. I'm gonna wait until then, because after that I know they can't give me any flannel about "timescales" etc.

we called them 2 weeks ago and they said to call back after 190 days sind petition were send

It even more than 6 month rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So we are waiting for 19 August.

Well I'll tell you what, you can be my VJ online buddy if you like. My other 2 February filling online buddies (Miss Yoko and cwaf) both got approved, so I clearly have the magic touch

Well it helps to read that i am not the only one in the black hole between CSC and the NVC. My plan is to call the NVC every day or so to see if there is any change. My NOA2 was approved June 19th, where the heck did my petition go!!!!

I thought the time that it took for my approved petition to get from the CSC to the NVC was ridiculous, and it was. But, your situation is even more ridiculous. If I were you, I would be getting my Congressman's office and/or Senator's office looking into this for you. That's what I did. I don't know if it was just coincidence (kind of doubt that), but my petition showed up at the NVC right after they began inquiring to the CSC.

It will come bevs mine took 156 days and i received the noa2 only after 162 days. it will come soon.

I am very much depress now. i really dont have enought patience anymore, maybe because i waitied long for this already, 3 yrs and 7 mos, yet up to now im still waiting and waiting our son is growing , and he is looking for his daddy. this hurt me more. and i want to get over with it soon. im sorry im so emotional, cant just hold it anymore.

I actually got both my Congresswoman's office and my Senator's office involved. Maybe I'm fortunate in that both offices were very attentive and responsive to my requests for help. You might try getting your Senator's office involved. If at all possible, you should visit their offices in person. Be sure to take a copy of your NOA2. If you don't get the feeling that they are doing anything to help you after you see them, call them often.....be persistent. After all, these people are your representatives in our federal government. And, it's an election year. If they're not bending over backwards to help out their constituents (and voters), I'd be surprised. If they're not seeking re-election, then maybe they wouldn't have quite as much motivation to help out.

Don't worry! You're not the only one (there is still at least one person waiting from August '07), and I know there are a few January filers floating around. You'll hear something soon! Have you called USCIS? I called them on our five months and we had been approved that day. It was just a coincidence, but their on-line notification system seems to be iffy, so calling probably won't hurt.

I think cwaf is right...I was under the impression that they were one and the same. Lots of people have been in and out of security checks within a couple of weeks. I don't think it will hold you up too long!
