I have my interview this coming Thursday. Do you think it is OK that i will just used copy's of the other I-134 that my fiancee mailed me? while waiting to the original documents... I have his 2005 and 2006 ITR and W2 original only...

Hope somebody can give some advice on this... I am thanking you all now in ADVANCE.. God Bless You All..

You'll need the original Affidavit of Support document...they'll be looking for the notarial seal by the lawyer who helped prepared it...

anyways, if it was sent as priority mail then you should be able to receive it in 3 to 5 working days. When did your fiancee send it out? Hopefully you get it before your interview...

Well, goodluck and i hope everything goes well...

They need the original copy of your I-134. That is one of the first thing the prescreener asked from me and the 2006 ITR and the certificate of employment. He didn't ask for the W2s but bring it with you pa din in case u get a different prescreener.

My husband also shipped the I134 7 days before my interview. He shipped it Wednesday US time and it got here on Monday morning. I hope yours get there in time for your interview

just needs to be notarized by a certified Notary Public, it doesn't need to be a lawyer.

Now we're in a big problem, my fiancee called the DHL and told to him that our documents is LOST...that is really not good news for us. DHL should know the responsibilities to take care of all the shipment they've had. But then telling us that our shipment is lost is not REALLY GOOD.

Now, my fiancee sent me a new letter again and they charge it for FREE (DUHH~) they should charge us FREE FOR the lost of our documents though its still not good on the time of my interview... God help us to find the right way to do....

Maybe you can ask DHL to give you a certification or something that they have the original documents and that they were lost in transit. You can probably show this to the Consul along with the copy of your Affidavit of Support. Not sure if this will work though...
