Hello evereyone,

I hope we can get some advice here...

My Fiance and I have known each other now for about 8 months. We decided that we want to spend the rest of our lives together and get married someday soon. We are filing for a Fiance Visa I-129F, and we plan on filing for it any day now. This is my concern... in July, my fiances contract in Hong Kong ends, and she will need to go back to the Philipines for 30 days before she can come back to Hong Kong and work for another Employer... I'm asking if she gets an interview while she is still in the Philipines, will that mess everything up? Also... 2nd option, she is thinking of moving to Spain where her mom lives till she gets an interview.... so would that mess things up to? What are some advice we can get on how to proceed with one of these option... which option would be best for her to do?

Thanks

Don

I think you need to decide first, where her permanent address is and then she must plan her life to be in that country to deal with the P3, P4 and interview. You'll also want to study the "guides" by clicking on that word at the top of any page here and also consult the "immigration dictionary" link as needed.

I was never told to get P3 or P4 forms... I was told we need the I-129F forms since we will be getting married here in America someday...

She is from the Philipines, she is a Filipina... she has a work visa to work in Hong Kong... she told her boss she is going to marry me... so now her boss will not Renew her work contract which is up in July... so should we proccess our I-129F now and hope she gets approved by July?

And if she doesn't get an Interview before then, should she go back to Philipines for 30 days to renew work visa to get work again at Hong Kong, or should she go to Spain to stay with her mom till we get the Approval? OR... should she just go to Spain and then we submit the Petition?

P3 & P4 is "packet 3" and "packet 4"... They will come later in the process, after the I-129f has been approved and your fiancée prepares for the interview.

so... does anyone have any answers about my questions above? The answers above did not help me that I can see... sorry about that PUSHBRK and JESSE G

I think pushbrk's statement was right on-mark. She needs to establish what her permanent address is going to be, and then that's what you'd put on the I-129f... Your petition probably won't be approved by July, so she needs to decide where she wants to go in July, and stay there.

Frankly, visiting her mom sounds like a peachy option. You can then put her mother's address on the I-129f and she can then deal with the embassy in Spain.
