1.The NOA1 for I-129 is August and September. How is that unclear?

2. I give up trying to find logic in what you state since it changes every time.

1.

I'm afraid this is unclear only for you.

On NOA1 I-129, there is 2,3 dates. I'm leaving for you the excitement to LEARN which one is important .

2. Please help me track how logic in what I'm stating changes everytime.

The NOA1 for I-129 is August and September. How is that unclear?

There's talk about what date counts. If you filed both and your petitions were paired, you will know that the original date for the I-130 NOA1 doesn't count as your priority date. The NOA1 date for the I-129 is the date USCIS counts.

But I give up, whatever you say. I give up trying to find logic in what you state since it changes every time.

All I-129 are being cancelled. Unless you filed July 31 at 11:59 p.m. August or September don't count. No one should every apply for one. The CRI is the only good option. People only want the K-3 so they are in denial. No one wants the CR1. You name it, I agree with it and you are right.

The forum is to trying to help people and those folks with good attitudes who avoid sarcastic and snide comments will get the most help. Frequent "wise guy" comments and combativeness will get less help. Frustration is no excuse for treating fellow posters disrespectfully or "talking down" to them.

Obviously, nobody is clear on K-3s but there seems to be two types of argument categories...the optimists that think the K-3s are still being processed (or will soon be processed0) beyond July 28th, and those who feel that since july 28th the K-3s have been closed out at the time of I-130 approval.

Is it possible a few K-3s slipped through the bureaucracy after July 28th? I wouldn't be surprised. But are all post-July 28th K-3s being processed to successful completion in a normal fashion? Where is any evidence?

If the K-3 are being canceled or held up, will the USCIS start adjudicating K-3s again...and if so, when? Maybe when they play catch-up to the flood of filings last summer...or maybe the K-3 has fallen out of favor with the USCIS? Time will tell...but a lot of us don't have time to sit by and wait. We have to make a tough decision with what seems to be happening and with conflicting reports from congressmen and senators and fellow posters and the USCIS itself.

K-3 versus CR-1? The only "good' petition is the one that ends up successfully adjudicated.

One person is enough! They can't do it for on person and not another. Plane and simple. Did anyone inform the NVc

I did it in order of I129f NOA2. You want it differently you do it differntly.

For those who are confused by this thread:

Some VJ members try to determined if K3 is still vital, because many I-129 petitions filled after July 30 became admnistr. closed.

To apply for K3 you have to send 2 petitions first I-130 and then I-129, USCIS pairs them and prioritize by specific date of NOA1 on I-129.

On NOA1 there are at least 2 dates RECEIVED(e.i. close to sending dates on VJ timlines) and NOTICE date(sometimes 2 weeks sometimes 3 months after received date). To try to determine what's going on with K3 we should take into consideraton RECEIVED date on NOA1.

USIS claimes that they're going by RECEIVED dates.

Example 1:

KD & AB

I-129F sent on 7.16

NOA1for I-129 8.25 (NOTICE DATE) on the same NOA1 their RECEIVED DATE is most probably 7.20

They are July filers so their I-129 obviously got approved.

Example 2:

Samira & Jaouad

I-129F sent 8.13

NOA1 for I- 129 9.26 (NOTICE DATE) and again their RECEIVED DATE on NOA1 is probably 8.17 -they are August fillers

So yes they are valid example of K3 be still alive and we need more of those.

So K3's go and check your RECEIVED DATES on your I-129 NOA1 HARDCOPY. It will tell you where you are.

They filed after July and got approved. This is a fact, not all are being closed.

Calamitka asked that only dates after July be posted and they were. I just don't understand why ask for that and then it's posted and you just continue to repeat and repeat yourself.

I suggest you put another column in the matrix for the date they confirmed NVC received the I-129F. Until that happens, the rest is just smoke and mirrors.

What's all this Lurking? I admire that you dont want to give up your K3 hope but posting incorrect information like this are not helping anyone.

For example, I know for a fact that Mari & MIchelle's sent their I-129F petition on 7/27 and received by CSC on 7/28. USCIS have been going by/honoring received dates instead of NOA1.

I understand that the CR1 is not an option for you. I understand that you have to have K3. And I also understand if you need to create a certain illusion. But enough is enough. Creating matrixes like this only adds to the mass confusion.

Further, an approval doesn't mean the petition was forwarded to NVC an onward to a Consulate instead of administratively cancelled. One would hope but again, your matrix needs column for NVC received date to have any real meaning.

Texas is not taking family immagrant peitions.

Check USCIS, data you gave are posted by VJ' and it is more than possible they SENT petitions to Texas and forget mention that petitions were forwarded to California or Vermont.

Lurking can I ask you again kindly to post here only K3 approvals whose RECEIVED date on NOA1 of I-129 is after July 30.

You cause big confusion here.

Sad to say?? Approvals are gooood

It's sad because people who filed for IR-1/CR-1 in December and January are getting approvals left and right, and those of us who filed K-3 6 months earlier because it was supposed to be quicker have yet to be approved. I think a 6 month disparity in USCIS processing more than makes up for any delays which would have been incurred by the NVC and longer waits for interviews for many. If your I-129F gets administratively canceled and you end up having to go the IR-1/CR-1 route anyway then we've wasted 6 months for nothing. Even if the K3 is still alive, for many of us with this disparity in processing times, we will end up with a lesser visa that took just as long or longer to get and costs significantly more money and more headache in the long run. Just to think I could have an interview date right now if I didn't send in that I-129F. THAT is sad. It's all sad. I'm happy for everyone who's gotten their approvals so far no matter what they've filed, but for those of us who've gotten suckered into the K-3 with the promise of being reunited with their loved one sooner, I share my sorrow.
