The passport I used for the I-129F application will expire in a few months. The visa interview will likely happen at a time when this passport has about 2 or 3 months left before expiration. Does anyone know if this will be a problem?

I’m thinking of getting a new one, but am worries that changing passport numbers in the middle of the process might cause more problems.

don't worry... get a renewed passport, it is much easier to do it in your home country than from abroad... besides I think that want a passport with a minimum of 6 mos. remaining time to put the visa in anyway

YMMV

We got Claudeth's passport renewed at the Filipino embassy in L.A. and it was a nightmare. It would have been much easier for her to have done it in the Philippines
