Thanks Unruly, i will have to figure out something out, i dont think D will mind too much, but since we only see each other like every 3 months, you know time spent is of the essence.

Hey Claire, i am aware that we cant legally marry until after he gets here, i just have my heart set on standing on the beach barefoot having some sort of ceremony( nonlegal) of course, only because i can anticipate once he gets here, we may not be able to afford to go back to JA anytime soon and as this will be my first marriage, i want something significant and special.

Okay, this is for you ladies in the DC/Maryland/Virgina area.... i just read an article in the paper about some new pedicure being offered with fish. It is offered at Yvonne's hair and nail spa, i believe in Alexandria, Va, where you dip your feet into a tank full of baby carp and they nibble the dead skin off of your feet!!!! UUUGHHHH... there are women quoted in the article as saying " this is the best pedicure i ever had, the little fish kind of tickle"....WTH? i swear there is no limit to the retardedness of americans, if someone can come up with or invent it, there is always someone out there to try it.... sheesh...i need to start working on how to get rich.

ok, so i have a semi dilemma. I am taking two of my friends with me to JA in october, one is like my sister and i want her to meet D. The only problem is this will be there first time to JA, and they will expect me and D to entertain them, which i wouldnt mind doing, but i am only going to spend time with him. During the day, he will be at work and we can find stuff to do, in the evening well that is a different story :devil: .. I dont want to leave them hanging, but at the same time, you know how Ochi is, there is a party going on all the time, and i dont know if it is fair of me to leave it up to them to figure it out on there own, being as they are first timers. Any suggestions?

Are you kidding? They are big girls. You KNOW there is no shortage of people to entertain them in Jamaica. You do what you need to do. They will be just fine.

Tre...oh gosh! You were a stunning bride! You can definitely tell what pulled Marcel toward you before he found out how loveable your personality is...that batty...his hands and/or eyes NEVER left that area.... :rofl::rofl:

The fish pedi was actually a topic on Tyra Banks show a few months back...she had a discussion on beauty secrets from around the world. So this didn't originate in the US...it was actually Thailand or the Phillippines...something like that. The women in that country have been doing this natural pedicure for centuries based on Tyra's info.

The owner of the shop was on the news stating that he got a lot of requests, and he did his research by visiting the country...etc...then decided to bring the idea to his shop here.

I agree with Claire about getting married in Jamaica with the K1. I think it is a little risky with the current state of fraudulent cases. If you do it, I would suggest having a friend (that has NO authority to marry) officiate the ceremony...with NO paperwork of any sort. OR you could write your own "vows" or "promises" regarding your future life together...something along the lines of committing yourselves to each other and the success of your future marriage.

I want to be married in Jamaica too...but I wouldn't risk all the waiting and turmoil...or a problem with AOS later.

Jengs...........you were right. Andre and the kids just showed up here with donuts and a bouquet of flowers in a vase from our house. They are beautiful. I think they must've ate some donuts on the way cause all 3 of them are loud and bouncy. It was a nice surprise.

Justin called me from the road to ask a question and I asked where they were and to talk to Andre. They all lied to me even though I could hear they were out and about. When they got here Andre said I told you not to call her, I knew she would know. I think I have bionic ears sometimes!

good for mr Andre, but it sounds like he tried to make sure you had a wonderful weekend. he sounds very sweet. It's when it comes from the heart, that makes it so special. :thumbs:
