There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore... and who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Telephone Calls From Hell

Three leaders went to hell, Gordon Brown (U.K.), George Bush (U.S.A.), and Bruce Golding (Jamaica).

Brown asked the devil if he could make a call to England to see if the country is running ok. He made the call, and he stayed on the call for 5 minutes.

Satan told him that the bill is 5 million dollars.

Bush also asked if he could call his home country, the U.S. to see if all was well. He stayed on the call for 8 minutes and it cost him $8 million dollars.

Bruce then said he wanted to call Jamaica. He spent 2 HOURS on the call, then asked Satan how much the bill was. Satan replied, "$1 dollar".

He asked, "How come? Afta mi stay longa dan Brown an Bush?"

Satan replied, "You made a local call. Calling within hell is a local call."

Lawny asked me to pray for her in another thread, but of course I had to bring it to the Yardie thread….

We honor you heavenly father! May your perfect will be done in our lives! Thank you Lord for the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind! Please rebuke the enemy for us. Send your angels to watch over us, especially to keep a close watch on sistah Lawny and others who have been patiently waiting for their approval notices. We know they will soon come. Watch over her as she gives the best presentation ever today.

Help us all so that we can make it through another day. Continue to give us good blessings as you have done. Protect, strengthen and do spiritual warfare. Bless me and the Jengles family so that we can heal from our illness quickly. Bless the mothers-to-be with successful pregnancies. Keep our relationships with our families strong and healthy. Protect our fiances in Jamaica and keep them safe so that they arrive to the states in perfect condition to join their new families.

Watch over any persons that enter that Kingston Embassy today, tomorrow and forever and give your blessings as they walk in nervous and anxious to get through the interview process with an approval. Give strength to those who may need to come back for any reason and guide them through the process until they succeed.

Walk with Tonisha (tnw) and LaPrincesa lord because they are next up and we know that only you can make it possible to get them through this process. Take their hands and stand with them as they answer those interview questions with their future husbands. We are all ready to hear that they’ve been approved. Without you Lord, who are we? Thanks for blessing us with so many new friendships. In the precious Name of JESUS! Amen

Does anyone have an Expedia Account? They gave out coupons last month for $100 towards any trip of 4nights with air. If anyone has an account with then and got the coupon, but will not be using it please let me know. It expires on March 30th. If your not sure of where to find it let me know.

I get the coupons, so if anyone ever books through Expedia let me know and if I have any, I'm alway's willing to share.

Thanks

I love Jamaica Grande, because everything is right there. Ochi can be a little crazy at times and I'm sure ya'll already know. Hold on to your HANDBAGS...all they have to see is the WRISTBAND and you're an instant target.

All the times I've stayed in JA, I've never stayed at an all inclusive. I've stayed at Fisherman's Point, Silver Seas, and Rooms on the Beach and one other small, crappy little hotel (don't remember the name). We're always bringing Tony's kids, cousins, and nieces back to our hotel with us to swim in the pool, go to the beach, etc... That's why I'm wondering how they treat the locals. We'll probably stay at Rooms for the first 7 days and then a nice A.I. for the last 3 days. Do you know how much a day pass costs? Is it cheaper for kids?

I've never had any problems in Ochi (knock on wood :bonk: ). I used to walk up to the store after dark by myself to get water or soda or snacks. A lot of flirting and comments, but no one was rude or anything.

Sunny, God Bless you and AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!

So, many crazy things going on in and around my district in Trelawny. My dad's friend got stabbed in the head by a mad man that's been swearing to kill him for the past 33 years. Two sisters were fussing over a drum pan of water got into a big fight and one of them had a massive heart attack and died on the spot. I just don't understand. Now, I'm afraind something else is going to happen. Things always happen in 3s in our district. The lady that had the heart attack was only 52 years old. They're TWINS! Now, they say the other sister has gone mad. I just don't understand why fight over something so simple. She's your sister, what's the harm in sharing. So, my parents are going home tomorrow for a 2 funerals one Saturday and the other Tuesday. Now, police is in the district to protect the mad man. I don't see why they can't take him away to a hospital or just keep him in jail for a few weeks until things calm down. His family has already moved out of the area. And on top of all this, my cousin's EX fiance who, I found out later, never made it into the embassy. I think they have a list of something and his name wasn't on it so he was not allowed inside. So, my cousin's ex is hanging around the district that my dad's house is in, because we're on the main. He's been warned several times by our family members to not start no problems and there won't be none. He was also warned by the police to go back to MoBay! I just have a bad feeling something is about to go down. My cousin is also leaving for Jamaica tomorrow to attend the funerals. I tell you, it's always something.

Confession time - my husband and I stayed at the Grande Sept 06, I went back to Jamaica in Dec 06.

So, I had saved both our bands and I'd regualarly put them on and sneak over to the hotel for the day

Some of my friends came down and stayed in Ochi so they got day passes, of course I kept those too

Forgive me for my sins!!

That's a good idea! I'll have to keep it in mind if I stay there  I'm actually really surprised they don't change the colors or something.

Trelawny and Marlita - I hope your NOA2s soon come :clock:

We're still waiting for Damien's NOA1...he went to his biometrics appointment this morning. His CG expires April 10th.

We're STILL waiting for Tony's Green Card!!! It's been 9 months already since we sent in to "remove conditions". They are soooooo far behind.

Oh no I hope this changes by next year. This could delay hubbies college degree. I am sending mine in way early.

You can't send it in way early. You can only send it in 90 days before his GC expires. They're just so far behind.
