Torture to talk with USCIS people

Just want to share my experience.

Well, today I call again and this time I talk with is a man, I think he's a Hispanic from his accent. Maybe both of us hardly to understand each english. (hmmm I did try my best)

As VJ fellows who read my posts before, you may know I'm still struggling with EAD and AP...I am a Dec Filer!! AOS is delayed I can understand as we received a RFE...

I told this man I applied all those 3 forms in Nov 28th 2007, now is already over 90 days, but I still haven't received the NOAs of EAD and AP, he also suspected my address is wrong or there is no my name on my mailbox, but I said I could receive the NOA for AOS and the biometrics appt letter and we put our last name on our mailbox. For his reference, I told him I called them on Feb 8th and last week, the lady told me if I didn't receive anything on or after 29th, she asked me to call again...sooooo now I call!!

First, he said "Madam you can't blame us, 90 days is just the standard timeline, someone sooner and someone later" Awww I am not blaming you, I just want to have some solutions. I don't know I should laugh or cry??!! Also he said I misunderstood what his co-worker (that woman I talked with last week), I need to wait 45 days since my 1st call on Feb 8th, he just told me to be patient and wait for 1-2 more weeks, to see what will happen, then pls call again~ So tired to talk to them!!!

I read your post today:-( so sad to hear about your papers that you process first before me...just pray and don't lost hope and be patient to wait. It's ok to wait now coz ur already with your hubby that is the most important thing. You don't have to worry so much in waiting for your papers coz at least u already process and gave it to them its already their problem for the investigation and conducting an interview for your greencard.

By the way i just look at your profile we are in the same place:-) rochester new york:-)

Just enjoy yourself with your hubby..

Thanks for your reply. Ohhh I didn't notice that, I PM you though.

Maybe I just had a bad luck to dealing with the papers. You are right - the most important thing is I can be with my hubby now and no need to be separated anymore. Just sometimes I want to help my hubby out to work, as now he has to work both jobs that made him super exhausted...I hope I can get my EAD asap!!

Heehee so good to know someone in the same place - Rochester NY!! I always think no one there to have AOS in that small town. If you like to share, you may PM me too!!
