OMG... I'm so glad you are both OK. That really must have been terrifying. You were both so lucky. Cars and possesions can be replaced, people can't.

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

Thanks so much everyone. Been a weird day - not only the 3 hours sleep but my whole system is messed up. I ate breakfast but I am still STARVING. My dad is coming in about an hour to take us to the car - will post some photos later. Then we're getting a rental car, and we have dr's appointments this afternoon too (in case). I feel ok but Chas' neck is wrenched kind of good. :(

I'm glad to hear that you and Chas are came out ok from that. Hydro-planing is a scary thing and nothing is scarier than having it happen next to a semi!

Glad to hear the injuries do not sound too serious. Good thing to be checked out, whiplash especially comes on later and can be very painful. It is the shock that is making you feel different than normal.

Beggars belief no one stopped that saw it, what is the matter with people.

Thanks so much everyone. Dr gave us muscle relaxant and anti inflammatory, and we go tomorrow to have our necks xrayed. I think Chas' is worse than mine but mine is tweaking anyway.

Chas is going to get the photos off the camera of the car. The guy at the wrecker place thinks the insurance company will call it totaled (the adjuster even asked me if I thought it was totaled). We have a rental car -- a nice 2007 Camry actually! -- so at least we can get around. Work has been great - I was 'ordered' to work from home tomorrow, and will probably have to on Thurs as well. My boss said work from home, or don't work at all - whatever. They've also ordered us a pizza for dinner which will be arriving soon.

All in all, we are feeling very fortunate. I'll post piccys as I get them put on photobucket. But for now I just need to sit a bit and rest!

Thanks for the update Tracy! I'm glad you both are doing as well as can be expected after such a harrowing experience. Its great that you're employer is so understanding! Hopefully all will continue to go smoothly with the insurance. Keep taking good care of yourselves!

WOW!!! Those photos of the car, its really a miracle you both didnt get hurt worse or killed. Shocking seeing the photos.
