I'm very excited with the conclusion. :thumbs:

Thank you my VJ's peers for helping me with the VISA process. I'm indebted to everyone here. My wife got her k-3 Visa and is en route for the USA on March 19, 2008! I'm very excited! No lawyers, no legal consultation required. There was a small bump at the end of the interview that made me think I will be needing a lawyer; however, that process was just a quick fix on my part. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!! :thumbs:

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen

2010-4-12 Bio (done early 3-29)

2010-6-3 card production ordered

2010-6-19 10 year GC recieved

2011-3-28 application sent via express mail to LEWISVILLE TX SC

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

Congratulations!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

Transferred to local office based on "security checks" : 11/27/2007
wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

WOOT THERE IT IS! WOOT THERE IT IS!! WOOT THERE IT IS!!!!

My wife was very shaky when she came out. She hugged her niece with a huge smile on her face. I wasn't there to witness it. I also felt her joy here. I felt like I need to shed a few tears sometime too.
