fiance received packet today from hong kong emabssy and something in there about about ftu hard to understand on lousy phone in hong kong anyone tell me what this is? she has to deposit funds in metro bank in the philippines for whatever it relates to.also she was married in the philippines but got her divorce in hong kong will the embassy recognize the divorce ? thanks hpefully it will be sooon

It is actully "FPU". My wife had to go through this in Hong Kong and FPU a requirement for all philippine citizens.

This is NOT part of the NBI.

A reletive in the philippines needs to pay 650 pesos to DELBROS from any METRO Bank in the Philippines.

Your fiance should have all the instructions to follow. this is a very important requirement in the process.

I advise you to call your fiance about the instructions.

You should contact the Philippine Embassy in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Immigration regarding divorce!
