Are you freaking out and cleaning every inch of the apartment? That's what I did for about 3 days....

I work all day tomorrow (not that I will be paying much attention to it...) until 6:30 and his plane comes in at about 8. I'll pop in to let you know how his POE turned out (he's stopping at JFK first...)...

I know exactly what you mean about it feeling surreal; It hasn't hit me that Damian's not leaving in 2 months. He always used to come and stay 3 months so once the 3 months past and he's not leaving maybe it will hit me or maybe us getting married will make me realize!

September 16th - 30th, 2011 -- Damian's Parents came to visit us here in PA.

February 21st, 2012 -- 10 Year Green Card Received

November 26th, 2012 – Damian Became a US Citizen!!!

Hey Everyone!

I just thought I'd share this tid-bit of information....

We bought a car for Marco! While that seems to be cool......don't forget you aren't going to get a reasonable insurance rate on your foreign spouse. Since he just got a US driver's license, the rate is as bad as a 16 year old! I was completely shocked! I was expecting my insurance to go about 1.75x what I was paying now....and it went to 3 times it's amount.. NOT COOL!

Hey Nicole -- I worried about the same thing ... but I called my insurance here (Nationwide) and told them the situation. They told me to have Stephen get a record of his driving in the UK & Germany, and that would be sufficient. So I have a document from Germany, stating his driving record. I just have to get it translated into English and hand over to the insurance. If Marco drove in Germany, you might be able to get that and curb the insurance expense. Just an idea ...

Sorry for disappearing there for a bit ... we took an unplanned break (mini-honeymoon) to the Outer Banks of NC for 3 days. And then have been buried in AOS paperwork, and insurance paperwork to get Stephen added to health coverage, etc.

I hope everyone is doing well ....

Dawn -- hope your reunion with Darren is fabulous ... it will be, as you won't be separated again!!!

Susie -- congrats on Paul's arrival and the two of you being together

Friends, I wanted to let everyone know that I DID ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. In fact we did it, we sucessfully passed K1/2 interview.

Just came home with my 2 kids absolutely exhausted after absolutely sleepless night.

The CO asked me how, when and how many times we met, also where Randy works.

I was giving him detailed answers ....but he stopped me and said that our visa is approved.

I am not sure why so soon hehehe...maybe because my kids misbehaved and he wanted to kidly let us go :lol:

Can't believe it happened........OMG 6 full months from January 8 to July 9, tension, tension, tension....

Will get our visas in a week. Planning to reunite with Randy by the beginning of school year, August 18.

Wish everyone best of luck!!!!
