Ack, sorry to hear about the lack of news, Sally and Susie. :( Still keeping my fingers crossed for you; let's hope that you hear something before the week is out!

WaitForever - :bonk:Please take your bitterness elsewhere.

Rachel,

Thank you for saying this so nicely...I was trying to find something to say, but came up far short...

Anyone who has been on these threads for any length of time know that as happy as we are for each other in regards to our good news, we are also heartbroken at the discrepancy between the two service centers. Many VSC'ers (myself included) wish that this would be rectified, but there is nothing we can do. If I could have delayed my case to help a CSC'er get their NOA2 earlier, I would have done it.

I think that comments like this are a cheap shot meant to try and make us feel badly about our good fortune.

I wish all the best and speedy NOA2's for everyone, no matter where they filed...

Well said dawn :D

I'd like to add a small comment to:

"Whats it like to win the jackpot of living on the east coast?"

...I'm smack dab in the middle in Texas so it's not solely an East Coast jackpot... (I've never been more thankful for moving here last year..) WaitForever - We do and will continue to provide support, say just as many prayers, and wish luck for that side of the US too.

Yes, and if I remember correctly, those who live in Indiana also file at the CSC. Unfortunately it's not split down the middle of the country about who gets to file where. It's not like they drew a line down the US and split it evenly.

Just because a petitioner lives in a specific state that allowed them to file at the VSC should have no bearing on the individuals involved. It wasn't our choice what center we filed at, it's just the way it is.

And as far as I recall, all of us, regardless of what center we filed at, are being supportive of each other, because we are all on the same journey. Does it make me happy that VSC processes faster, no not, really. Because I've built friendships here with people who have filed at both, and it breaks my heart to see CSC people waiting longer and longer.

I hope everyone waiting (CSC & VSC) get their approvals soon!!!

I hope and pray VSC woul give these 5 the approval soonest.
How are those prayers for the CSC folks going? You see, we'll still be waiting for our approvals when you are on your honeymoon.

Whats it like to win the jackpot of living on the east coast?

Are you Chris reincarnate??

Don't worry I will wait for your approval before I go for a honeymoon BUT if CSC starts giving approvals next week, YOU SHOULD REFUSE and wait til AUGUST

to those who are still waiting for interview sched I hope and pray you get it soonest... and for those who are still waiting for approvals whether from VSC or CSC, I have been praying for all of you and I really hope that we would all see some favorable action on both centers coz there are still VSC filers waiting from last year (YMR and others) :(

I just hope wait forever will NEVER experience how it is to see somebody who filed after them in the same center from the same consulate and then get approval ahead of them.

That's probably why they have the name "Wait Forever" ... it would appear to me that they have a negative energy, and rather than make the best of a painful situation, they'd prefer to bash the little bits of happiness people do have. No one has to wait forever ... just have to have some patience and realize the process may not be what we want, but it is out of our control.

Let's not let the bitterness of one take away the little bits of joy that our found in each step of this process.

And as always, hope everyone waiting, whether for interview dates, medical exams or NOA2, I hope everyone gets them soooo very soon!!!!

Dawn... it's easier for people to deal with anger than it is for them to be sad. They need someone to blame is all...to be angry with. It's THEIR problem. You should not feel badly about being approved sooner than anyone else. Most of the people are not like this. Be happy...celebrate the fact that you will be with Darren soon and dont let anybody take an ounce of that away from you! :)

Waiting... maybe put that energy into something positive like contacing your representative or writing productive letters that may actually have an effect rather than verbally bashing people you dont even know because they are happy for all the same reasons you would be if you were given the opportunity to file with VSC. I understand how hard the process is for everyone but it's absolute lunacy for you to take it out on these nice people whom you dont even know.

Good luck Kommie... Sally, i'm sure it's coming very soon! :)

AWWW, Kim you are always the angel.hugs3.gif

I have a very strong feeling that we have encountered waitingforever before so it really doesn't affect me an ounce and I hope it will also not affect anybody else here... after waitingforever gets his/her NOA2 and after being united with the SO, they will still find something or someone else to be upset about.. people who are like that will never know real happiness and they are to be pitied.

Unfortunately we've seen more Chrises in the past and I'll expect to see more in the future. Somehow I have the feeling that if the ball was in their court they wouldn't be supporting the stragglers and complaining about CSC but shouting their approvals from the rooftops.

Congratulations Kommie! Great to see another successful interview. :)
