Well, it's been a month today since we got our RFE... and still nothing.

I feel like its all my fault we didn't receive our approval that day.

They tell you on the RFE that they will definitely (yeah right) make a decision within 60 days. At least 30 are already gone.

But now the earliest he would get here is the end of July. Who is going to watch my kids now for the entire month of July? I checked again, and all the childcare spots are filled in my area. May have to quit the new job (!!!). And be jobless.

Why do WE have to be the ones getting the raw deal from VSC?

Its absolutely very frustarting to be waiting this long when others within your timeframe and even after you have been approved and already waiting for interview.

We could count things that will make this process even more depressing and there are many... but on the brighter side, you received RFE in less than two months unlike others who got their RFE after over 6months and as you said, at least the 30days from RFE is already gone... It won't be too long for the NOA2 now and he will be there soon

I can understand your frustrations but pls try not to think that you would have to quit and be jobless yet. Even if he gets there by the end of July, at least you know he will get there in a few months time... I am sure you will find a solution to who will watch over the kids... you always have found a solution when time is pressed and pressure is high right? You're actually stronger & wiser than you give yourself credit for.... Just have faith in yourself and have faith in a higher being.

Pls stay strong and have faith.... It is not yet over till you say it is over.

I'm so sorry with your situation. I can only imagine how frustrating this whole thing is at this point. Dbears is right, stay strong and focused. Usually child care places will have some vacancies open up when the summer begins - could be because people move or decide to go to a different center. Keep your name on the waiting list for every center in your area. Best of luck to you, you are in my prayers.

I have removed from the list those that have not been seen on VJ since January and February with the hope that somehow, those people have gotten their NOA2 already.

To those who are still waiting... I've sent a prayer and well wishes for all of you that somehow this will be a better week and that this week will not end without an approval or two.

I was thinking...I know we (VSC filers) have started to get interview dates...I wonder if it would be a good idea to list them and update them as people are approved...I know we do that on the UK thread, and it always gives me a lift to see names with a big red "APPROVED" next to it!!!

I wouldn't mind starting one if everyone is amenable...
