Good Morning everyone. It's been a quiet weekend but that's ok, since the mail service seems to be the primary method of notification these days I think it will be monday or tuesday before we have all of last weeks approvals. The good news is that the first remaining January filer is now 45 on Igor's list and that all January filers are now 100 or lower. I'm having one of those days where I feel like this is just NEVER going to happen. One NOA2 per day makes for a loooooooooooooong wait. I'm trying to stay busy, working extra hours, lots of gardening, lots of dog walking, planning dinner parties... but sheesh, I still turn to the computer every morning and every evening hoping for some sense of progress, but it just aint happening.

I don't mean to be a downer, just looking for a little pick me up, I suppose from those of you who I know have felt the same thing. I know we are getting close. I know the next two weeks will show some light at the end of the tunnel. I know it. But its hard to keep saying it over and over and over.

Alright CSC, here we go! Let's get pumped up for a great Tuesday... everyone, start drinking those coffees...

Oh well, we moved another spot as a January 15 filer has been approved.. Congrats to them :D (and yay for us hehe)

I know your pain... the 'happy' feeling my post might give is actually a bit fake.. I'm down as hell the last few weeks (my SO has it even worse than I have) and sometimes I even got pissed off at some of the happy comments people made here about it may be soon and stuff (which is why I sometimes don't post at all while I am still around)... yet we're still waiting.

If I would do it right, I should be at home at the moment, being home in sick leave but coz that makes time go even slower. Instead I just go to work and see if that can make the day go by faster. Usually I looked forward to weekends but not anymore as there are hardly any approvals during the weekends. This whole process at the CSC is a serious mental downer for me and I suspect for a lot of others as well. I too know there will be light at the end of the tunnel but yah, it's so hard to keep saying that day in and day out :(

I hope the majority of January filers will be approved this month and that CSC picks up a bit faster at all the petitions, but, I also feel like it is wishful thinking :/

It would be lying to say that I wasn't feeling down this past month. Even when they started to approve January people at the beginning of May, I was so sure that we would be one of the lost cases and that it would take several more months for us that I was feeling down too. I don't have good words to tell you to make you feel better. I know that nothing people said on this forum was making me feel much better when I was sad.

This is indeed a very hard process sometimes. I wish that your wait won't be too long.

The one thing that made me feel better at the end of the week was to think that another week had gone by and therefore we were closer to the end :)

07/31/08 Entry in USA with K1 visa

08/27/08 Married

05/15/09 Conditional green card received

05/10/11 Permanent green card received

07/28/12 Started naturalization process

08/31/12 Biometrics done

That's indeed one of my concerns as well.

Yep, I got the exact same feeling each day passed without the approval still means another day closer to the end indeed :)

hey folks! I know we filed at VSC but we had to wait years just to be allowed into the 'waiting room' and we've been apart (literally the other side of the world) for 8 months after living together so I relate in a very real way to how you're feeling. It just shouldn't take this long.

I'm a very positive and optomistic person but I find as the time is dwindling down that I am getting more and more impatient with the waiting. It's like each day brings us one step closer and makes us more anxious for that super prize that is the email from CRIS saying we are approved and on to the next step!

I don't have any good advice except to do as you are.... try to keep busy and stay positive. Just wanted you to know that even some of us over at the 'speedy center' are feeling very much the same. It shouldn't be long now. Stay strong and soon we'll celebrate together!!!

I know it either... It's the reason you don't see me posting here. Like you I keep me busy ''till I'm exhausted... In fact it makes the things worse 'cause I get sad and down more easy as I'm tired. Bad thing for me is that I work online... so I'm able to check igor's list or uscis website all the time...

I'm sorry all to don't participate so much there. I just don't feel to do it. I know I'm already lucky being able to see my Love. Beside some of you there who can't.

But however... that wait is just the hardest thing I know

Hugs and kisses to you all

*hugs* I don't really have any words of wisdom to impart, but I do really hope that you all receive your NoA2s soon and that, when you do, you feel able to continue to post in this thread, because you'll be very much missed otherwise!

I don't have any wisdom to impart except take it one day at a time. It gets too overwhelming if you try to look too far into the future.

this is off topic but i cant help but burst out this ton of annoyance in my heart about me and my fiance's situation, we get too involve in arguments that arises due to the feeling of missing each other terribly! i feel hes working too much that he cant spare an energy to spend time with me (decently) i mean....yeah we talk everyday, but talkng for us means...saying hi hello, what happened to ur day today...blah blah...soon il b hearing a snore-y "i love you too" when i say i love you to him..

i feel like what the F@%@!!!!!! and when i try to vent out my feelings to him..he'll be reasoning out that he is working hard for us.

i really feel at the baddest with this! we tend to move on with our lives and forget what had happened bad and when something wrong rises up..it will bury cover the last bad issue we had! and so on....JUST BECAUSE WE ARE NOT SPENDING TIME ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just having a mild 'eek do I really want to move to the US?' moment.

I have a couple of really fantastic friends here and I'm worried about having to begin friendships anew. I'm also not looking forward to having to sift through my belongings and work out what I want to sell and what I want to ship. I'm also concerned that items might be damaged or lost in the shipping; not that it'd be a disaster by any means - I don't really have anything precious - but it would be a pain. I have everything nicely set up as it is.

Also - and this is going to be hard to describe - I guess I'm feeling a lack of love lately. Not from Alex, I hasten to add, or from you guys in this thread. Just having a paranoid week where I keep wondering if I'm saying the right things, whether or not I've annoyed someone, whether people are secretly laughing behind my back; I know, it's ridiculous. Being all moody and tearful for no real reason.

*hug* It will all turn out alright. You're allowed to have those "eek" moments, I think I'd be worried about anyone who didn't have any! All of us, even the USCs just not to the same extent, are making huge changes in our lives and you have every right to hesitate and wonder sometimes. Just remember that you love him and that it will all be worth it in the end.
