Just checking in briefly today. I have that early midterm and I came to the coffee shop for good coffee and I have that nausea from not getting enough sleep. I'm skipping my first two classes. Time to cram for the midterm exam and I have 5 hours to do it. Ahhhhhhh!

My parents are going to Palm Desert tomorrow morning for two weeks.

My oldest sister is going to Aruba in a week for 10 days.

My brother is going to Miami in a month for a week.

Awww I want a puppy!

Does anyone here have or know someone who has an English Bulldog? The husband and I really want one of those. I'd like to know about the breed a little more from someone who actually owns one or knows someone who owns one.

im up....gotta potty train the new puppy...he did a good job yesterday and today...

Do you have a vet ? You could call them and ask if they have a list of reputable breeders. Personally, I would shy away from newspaper ads. That is an indication they don't have a great reputation because why else would they need to advertise? You could always go online and look up English Bulldog rescues in and around your area, or check with local shelters. Just a suggestion.

Great advice, Nagi! I've looked a bit online about the breed and bulldog rescues. I don't have a vet because I don't have any pets right now. I suppose I could ask my parent's vet. We want to know more about health and behavior problems specific to bulldogs in order to make a decision on whether to get one or not. They are just so adorable and have such personality.

Cool! I suppose any Vet can answer your questions or direct you to someone who can. Try going to the AKC ( American Kennel Club ) site, if they have one, and look up that particular breed.

The Detroit Kennel Club Benched Show should be coming soon ( if it didn't already) at Cobo Hall. Get there early and there should be lots of English Bulldog breeders there to talk to.

Oh I hope she doesn't cry too much!!! I used to hate bringing my girls for shots and the doctor hated it too 'cause they'd be all giggly and smiley and then whammo....BETRAYAL!!! lol. I hated watching her face go from total trust to total devastation.

I got moved to the end of the hall today cuz I was tired of hearing women in labor! I'm all alone in the back here and I love it! They say I won't be bothered unless they see my monitor at the desk freak out. Don't tell, my daddy smuggled me a huge Sonic chocolate shake in!

Well I woke up this morning and hearing my daughter yelling, the tooth fairy ripped me off! Oh #######! i forgot, shame on me!! so i typed up a note (from the tooth fairy)explaining that she had millions of homes to visit and had to wait until she went to school, i hope my daughter buys it

I have forgotten 3 times..I always fall asleep before placing the money. Did YOU know that the tooth fairy stopped leaving money under pillows coz she got tired of waking every kid up so now she has decided to do the pick up and drop off on the dining room table? Pretty cool huh!

The first time she missed him, I told him that she had a lot of kids lose teeth that day and she couldn't make it to our house until the following evening. I then created a tooth fairy letter with neon type writing that said

Dear XXXX,

Sorry I couldn't make it to your house last night. I had so many teeth to pick up that my bag got too heavy and I couldn't get to all of the houses, so I will be coming by your house tonight. Make sure you keep your teeth really clean for me coz the cleaner they are, the more money you will get.

Day 5 of the flu.........my hip bones are showing, my wrists are getting thin....I just want to eat something and have it stay in my stomach. Amal come take care of me. I'm illin.
