removing conditions many times

I applied to remove conditions, but my biometric appointment got lost.

I didn't know it, but then I found out, and applied again.

Now I am very nervous that it may happen again, and I am curious: how

many times can one reapply, in theory? Two, three, many? If there

will be a valid excuse for doing so, of course.

You say you had to reapply.... did you get a denial for your first application or did you just file again? why did you not just make an infopass appointment at your local office and get them to sort out your biometrics....

I was told to apply again by them, I was there, so, I submitted

everything again, the forms, affidavits, evidence. And now I am

waiting again for the biometric letter, and just wondered, how many

times can one apply.

Normally, there's an outcome to every application. Acceptance, or denial. Why, after applying a second time, are you nervous it would happen again. Are you getting your mail? Have you moved? Does USCIS know your current address?

So you decided to file again, pay $545 AGAIN, send all the evidence AGAIN, etc. instead of

requesting another biometric appointment?

I decided nothing, I was told to... apparently, there is a time frame

when you can simply ask for another biometrics, after that you have to

reapply, or so they made me understand. But I hoped to get an answer

to my question, not to be asked.

In reply to your question....... I have never know anyone have to file more than once.... sometimes a packet will be returned for some reason (filed to early, incorrect fee, forgot to sign) you are the only person I have heard of who has filed twice..... as for there being a time frame for biometric, well we have a member here who delayed his biometrics for 10 months without any issues.... There is no way in hell I would be re-applying and paying again because USCIS did not issue an appointment for biometrics.....

Who told you to do that?

And how do you know your biometric appointment letter got lost?

Just trying to understand it a little better.

Immigration officer in infopass told me to do so. We assumed that

the letter was lost, because I never received it, and they stated

that they sent it, that's all. I received nothing at all, waited and

waited, then went to infopass and found out that they dropped my case

some months ago, and they said that they sent me letters (biometric,

letter that they dropped me - don't know how to call it correctly).

I said that I received nothing, they checked the address on file - it

was correct. Our post box was never violated, so I don't know what

happened. So, they simply told me to submit everything again, and to

pay again, of course. I did. I received an extension letter already

(that is the second, the first expired already), and now I am waiting

for my biometrics again. So, partly being worried and party wondering,

I asked what is suppose to happen if this story repeat itself. What

do they do to such people? Suppose it will get "lost" again, I will

be just asked to apply again, the third time? Is there a limit to

such application? Like a law that you can't apply, say, more than

thrice, or it's their discretion? Can there be a legal trouble for

the applicant? Just wondering. And worrying.
