NOA2 - "Valid from...?"

So we got our NOA2 last November.

It says it is "Valid from 11/28/2007 to 3/28/2008".

...What does this mean?

My fiancee has not yet even had her medical booked yet, let alone sent her checklist to the embassy. She does have all of the documents needed to do so, yet just completed a move (within the same city) so she hasn't done it yet. As luck would have it, they have no phone at their house just yet.

So, now I am starting to wonder. What happens if she hasn't been interviewed by the 28th of March?

Obviously we're trying to get the gears in motion here, but if something that will cause her to not get her Visa will happen after that date if she hasn't been seen yet, or whatever...then we need to know now please.

Also, let's bear in mind. We were told our Packet 3 was sent out December 11, 2007. We didn't get a Packet 3 until January 14, 2008. So we essentially lost a month thanks to the embassy in the first place.

The consulate will automatically extend the petition.

We have the same issue with the NOA2 expiring. I emailed the consulate and they said not to worry about it.
