The pipeline plug couldn't last forever. Sometimes it feels like it will, but it always 'unstuffs' itself eventually.

Is CSC picking up speed too?

CSC seems to be gaining a little momentum too, but not quite VSC's rate yet.

Since they've split the service centers, it'll be interesting to see if timelines between the two even out.

Personally, I think VSC will always be a bit faster. Supposedly it's a very different management style up there.

That's the impression I get too. They seem to be more streamlined. I've especially noticed this in service center -> NVC. Our petitions can sit at CSC for weeks before finally heading out to NVC, whereas VSC will kick them out sometimes the same day, but rarely longer than a couple days.

Hi everyone.

We got the NOA1 at the end of january and yesterday, Feb 25 we got an email that says that the I-129f petition have been approve. Does that mean that we have the NOA 2 ALREADY?¿?¿?!! Just in a month? this is the copy of the email. thank for your help

Congratulations, i bet it's a great feeling.

Plus, for the rest of us waiting: there was an approval in 7 days in january and another one here in a month.

I know there are still august filers without any approval. I wonder how many of those simply didn't update their timelines

Good luck!

Where did you see the one in 7days?? I must have missed out on that one. Was it from Vermont as well?

I'm sorry it's 4 days...and the funny thing that it was at the CSC...how ironical

Alex & Barbara is a couple where the beneficiary is from Cuba, those are approved super fast...I'm not sure what the explanation is, but I think the latter process is lenthier because if I understand it correctly there is no specific us consular section in Cuba, so their post petition approval process is a bit different. I would not count Cuba as an indicator of things "speeding up". :)

-P

When I told my husband how quick they approve cases if the beneficiary is from Cuba, he said it is probably because Cuba doesn't really need to get a visa since they are always welcome to come in the US. I think it has something to do with US and Cuban governments...
