Hi everyone

I emailed CSC yesterday, I have to say they were very quick getting back with me about my case, I just don't know what this email mean, does it mean they are just still processing, or we are under some kind of review? Has anyone else been told this before, what do you guys think?

The petition is undergoing security checks required of all applications and petitions, there is no time limit to this processing. Please 60 days before your next inquiry unless you receive a request for evidence or a approval notice.

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/25/06 - sent packet 3 back to Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

9/25/06 - Interview date - APPROVED

9/28/06 - Visa in Zaeems Hand - YEAHHHHH

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

3/13/07 - AOS package rec'd at Chicago Lockbox

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

5-20-08 - AOS INTERVIEW - APPROVED - PASSPORT STAMPED

7-2-10 - Received 10 year green card in mail

its part of the process, noa2 will arrive after it, they say 60 days but could be less, those days they say are not always accurate

I got the same answer to my email! It's nice to know they actually emailed back.

I hope you get your NOA@ soon. Hopefully our Fiancees' will have the same interview date.

Im still waiting for the NVC to recieve my petition.

Nov 2004 we met online in a Yahoo chat room

Nov 2005 I went to South Korea for a month to be with her

Dec 2005 I asked her to marry me and she said yes

Jan 2006 Sent in I-129F to CSC

Revieved NOA1 Jan 9th

still waiting for an answer

Touched!! April 14

Touched again on April 16

NOA2 April 17

Interview Date July 7, 2006

Oooh thanks for posting. It helps to know a little bit more about what the security check involves. My heart is beating so fast. I'm so scared this is why my case is delayed.

Snz1802, it sounds to me like they left out a word.

"Please 60 days before your next inquiry " sounds like it should be...

"Please wait 60 days before your next inquiry", meaning if you still haven't heard anything by then, you should ask again. But normally you should not have to wait that long to hear something.

January 27 2006-NOA1 (Day 9)

January to April - Tried to keep her patient and calm as we waited!

April 17 2006 - NOA2 (Day 89)

... 91 days ...

July 17 2006 - NVC ~ After 91 days, FINALLY received by NVC! (Day 180)

July 21 to August 8 2006 - Flew down to visit Amber in Florida (ZERO problems at border)

Jul 25 2006 - Packet 3 received

August - ABANDONED PROCESS

if the csc HAS AN EMAIL ID, DOES THE nbc/MSC have one?

just coz ive been waiting for our k3 app to get a case # at nvc since 2/28.. and they say they havent received it yet and to wait 90 days... no fair.

Hi,

Received exactly the same respose from the said Officer. I believe that we are in for quite a bit of waiting. Let us pray . It is hard , I cried to-day when I read the USCIS web site explanation of security checks. Let us try and stay positive, inspite of what is said.
