I'm bored as heck, Anybody have cute or funny memories of their spouses that made you laugh or fall in love with them all over again? Maybe it will ease the frustration of USCIS

I remember once Wael and I were online reading the posts on VJ and one of the questions asked was "what was inside the manila envelope". Wael said "ohhhh they are from the Philipines" and I said "huh".....He said "I don't know if what is inside of the manila envelope is the same as the Cairo envelope"!!!! Welllllllll we had a very quick lesson on "manila envelopes" !!! I still laugh when I see a manila envelope.

He is such a sweetie!!!

I remember we were in our families garden/vegetable area and he put a blanket on the ground under a tree then took me next to another tree told me to put my hands over my eyes and close my eyes and he went away for couple of seconds what felt like 5 mins lol and he brought back a small rose in my hand and his face was so red he said its for u babe. Awwww like a kid.

Another one was when we were cooking with my dad he saw I was so professional :innocent: in cutting onions etc.. he tried cutting the chicken like a strong guy or something couple of times and my dad said ya ben the chicken is already dead why are you trying to kill it again. lol man he's so cute. :hehe:

how romantic lol  life is short really you can't take all time being stressed out. I don't know I can die tomorrow so I make sure my spouse knows I love him even if we're fighting...which we are 24/7 (L)

one night, he sent me a really cute text message to say good night...it was one of those cutsie sms messages you get online...anyway, so i liked it a lot and i told him how cute it was and a couple of months later, we had a little argument...not really an argument, but i wasn't so happy when finished speaking and a little while later, he sent me that same message and at the end, he wrote, "i know you liked it, so i wanted to send it again'

i also had a similar experience with the flower, also from the garden behind the house :luv:

..this process is, by far, one of the most depressing, stressful processes i've ever dealt with--but, in the end, it's all worth it and i would go through it over and over and over again to be with my husband!..i did have times where i couldn't crack a smile for weeks at a time..unless i was speaking to him of course....

i wish everyyyyyyyyyone, a very fast, smooth process and a very happy reunion insha allah!

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

My whole trip to Lebanon we both acted like kids. I don't think I have ever laughed so much in my life. The one thing that we talk about the most was a rental car his friend got for "us" to use....which we only got to use late at night cause his friend had it during the day! But it made so many creaks and just noises in general. Every time we turned a corner or hit a pot hole (which was often, my husband can't drive!) it made some sort of noise. It will be a month I will never ever forget. I was so nervous to go there and meet his family, and now his mom would kill him for me, she cried for a week before I left cause she was going to miss me :crying: (and no one ever cries alone in my presence!).

I can't wait to start making some new memories with him and our daughter, it's a long hard journey, some are longer than others, but like someone else said, the end result is so worth it and I would do it over and over again for him. (L)(F)

hmmmmm.....well I love the way he says "okie dokie panokie" Sounds funny with his thick accent!

kinda cute when he texts me "you make me so hoot". lol

Actually I'm kind of like wahrania in the sense that I try to shut all that stuff out you know? It's too painful to remember nice loving things sometimes. Maybe when I'm not so depressed I'll make a list. Most of all though he makes me laugh and I make him laugh. We just *click* you know?

Hmm, there are a lot. One was when I was in Jordan for the fourth time working in the field, I got a fever/cold. I didn't want to go to the doctor, but I did decide I could stay home from the field for a day. I went over to our apartment (I had to live on campus while working as TA) and laid there all hot and sick. He brought me chocolate, oranges, bananas, and carried me to and from the bedroom. He also came to visit me the next day during lunch and brought me more fruit and pineapple juice.

When we got married, one night I casually mentioned craving chocolate. He got dressed, dropped what he was doing and brought back some candy.

He made a picnic for us at the Dead Sea, bringing the makings for sandwiches and sang to me in his ridiculous voice.

Sometimes he brings me flowers.

He sneaked out one night and brought me back some veggies after I became really sick and we didn't have any at home (needed to go shopping). He got me my favorite tomatoes.

once, when i broke a glass in the kitchen, he yelled "stop!!" and I froze. he ran in and carried me out because I was barefoot.

He cooks when i feel tired or bad. He cooked for me in Jordan. He does the dishes almost every other night.

etc, etc.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

When my husband saw a baby elephant in Bangkok....He began to run down the street following the elephant with me chasing after him. He wanted to pet the baby elephant while it was more focused on my fruit smoothie.

In that moment, I saw a boyish excitement in my normally staid, practical husband . It was a good thing.

you brought back alot of memories. I've never been pregnant but I had a craving for ice cream in the morning and my husband drove 2 hours to surprise me and bring ice cream cuz theres no icecream in the cold months near us.

Another time when we were fighting he took me to a restaurant i liked and started smiling like a dumbass and licking his lips sexually while he ate i hate him hahaha hes so goofy.

i miss him
