Questions after receiving NOA2

Hello, idk this might be a dumb question but since my fiancee has lived in the US for about 1 year on a J1 exchange student visa, and 6 months on a tourist visa, does she need a police clearance from the US? also, she has class during the day, when the packet is delivered can they leave it at her house, or will she need to be there in person to collect it? Thanks all.

I have been in the US on a J1 visa for 13 months and then some more. I have an attorney representing me in the process and he is saying that I dont need a police certificate from the US. I was searching one time on visa journey regading this topic and someone asked the consulate that question. They said you don't need PC from the US. I cant seem to find the source of that info here

Your question was not too dumb to answer, but it was placed in the wrong forum (which might have slowed down the response).

Foreign beneficiaries do not need police certificates for time spent in the US.

Foreign beneficiaries who have a J visa in their recent past do need to ascertain whether they are subject to the two-year home residency requirement. If they are, no K visa will be issued until that two years has been fulfilled, or until the requirement has been successfully waived.

Oh, thank you. Yeah, in april the 2 year residency requirement will have been fulfilled so that shouldnt be a worry. Thank you
