YAAAAAAAAAAAY    Fiance was approved for his Visa yesterday! He said the interview was super easy and the guy was really nice. Hopefully I can get him to post a more detailed recap on here like some of you all have done. Thanks for all the help, because of you guys he knew what hotel to stay in he knew there was a little coffee place nearby and everything to expect. I think it probably made it a lot less nerve wracking for him :) Im so excited to FINALLY be done with this part of the process. We sent in our I129F last august, so its been a long journey! Still dont get to see him for another month, but compared to the last 9 months this month im sure will fly by! :D Thanks again for all the help everyone, and Im sure ill stay on these boards as the process continues :)

Awwww... hey you two.. Congratulations. Really happy to hear it all went well. I'm sure that even though the interview was relatively easy its a tough day to go through. All the best from hereon. (F)

Nice to see all the good news! Congrats to all the new K1 Visa holders :dance:

Not hear a peep on ours Kiwiana. I sure hope they won't need to interview us. My husband is in hospital, I took him in Monday the 23 April for his routine lab work, and the results were so bad they kept him. I am driving back and forth every day, an hour 15 each way, and trying to keep him on track. They are doing a transplant evaluation this week, so we are having all kinds of tours of the place, to places I had no idea were even there. I don't know when he will be discharged, until his labs improve I don't think they will send him home. He sure isn't up to a 4 hour drive to our 'local' service center at this stage.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Well I'm a bit of a go between at the moment, waiting on K1 approval, filed in May, I'm a Kiwi living in Sydney, been here for 12.5 years but I'm going to NZ for work on Tuesday for 5 months, which I'm really excited that I can do that before I move to the US. I'm confusing myself at the moment.

Well hello wintery New Zealand from a balmy Philadelphia!

No issues getting through LAX, although I was assured that my visa package was going to be sent to the local (to LA) USCIS office rather than the one local to where I live (Vermont), but hey, that bump in the road is yet to come!

Just got social security process done, in and out in under 10 minutes!!! pays to get up early to beat the "rush".

Anyhows, marriage licence figuring-out tomorrow, and just a courthouse wedding next week just to get the paperwork done so the AOS process can begin! Public wedding ceremony still being planned for up-state New York in fall :)

Looking forward to it!
