Mine came 2 days after NOA1. when did you get your NOA1? A lot may have to do with where you are getting your prints taken which depends on where you live. We are in Connecticut Zip code 06810, our center is in New Rock City.

I see you got NOA1 on January 28th. Are you in NYC or something? Probably will get it soon. I wouldnt wait more than another month and then Id follow up. If its lost in the mail you dont want to be considered abandoning your case or something.

Good Luck.

I am worried all the threads i have seen here have received the finger print letter after the NOA-1

i think it is lost, please guide me , is it ok if i call USCIS and find out from them.

thanks

I had the situation where my biometrics appointment letter was lost - due to my initial application being processed with the incorrect mailing address.

When I called the 1-800 number, they do not have information about your biometrics appointment - in fact, the only information they can access on your particular case is the same as what you can access online. I was advised that if 30 days have passed since the mailing date of your first NOA-1, they can submit a "service request" for you - this has 30 days to be assigned to an officer, then they have 30 days to respond to you. I received a response about 30 days after the request was submitted, which advised that I had indeed missed my biometrics appointment, and to take that notification with me to the biometrics office to have them done. I went to the office the next day, which was 23 days after the initial appointment had been scheduled for, and had them taken with no problems.

In hindsight, if I lived close to an INS office, I would schedule an infopass appointment, rather than submitting the service request. Had I done that, they could have told me at the infopass appointment when my biometrics appointment was, and I would have been able to make the original appointment.
