My wife filed an I-90 after her wallet went missing. Today she found out her wallet was turned in and she got it back with her green card still inside. Is there a way to rescind the I-90?

Thanks for the information. In our case, we filed the I-90 with option 'd' (because the category code on the card is wrong) and included an explanation that the card was stolen so we couldn't submit it as evidence of the error. We sent the application to the CSC. I'm assuming the application will most likely be rejected without the card. Since we have the card back now, I'm not sure whether to mail it separately in the hopes they put it with our application, send a letter withdrawing the application, or wait until they send us an approval or denial and re-apply. If they issued receipt numbers for I-90 option 'd's, it would make life easier.

Is there a time limit to apply for replacement of an inccrrect card and still get the fee waived?
