Passport stamps?

I was in Ukraine last fall (2005) and I can find the entry and exit stamps from the Ukrainian people but I don't see any stamp showing my return to the US. I have ones from previous trips but not this time----won't that look odd when I'm trying to prove that I saw my Sweetie within the last two years? (I do have other evidence but wonder about that stamp...)

hmmmm not sure how it will be viewed ...but you can't change it so don't lose sleep - and don't point it out or try to explain it....they might miss it

Well... if it has an entry date, then obviously, since you are in the US there HAS to be an exit date? correct me if i'm wrong ?

The USC is currently IN the US so he DID leave the Ukraine..

As for the passport - you have your ENTRY stamp showing you went - and your ticket stubs (maybe).

I have an old passport which hasnt got many re-entry stamps - but I doubt they are important - you came BACK and you have a record of GOING..

At least here in Brasil it´s a custom not to stamp return on the passport. So I have NO return stamps at all. I always go through custom here without them even stopping you to see if I´m really brazilian.

They don´t stamp it in Miami either, and last time they didn´t even take my I-94 (which I have sent to the proprer adminstration for reasons of checking if my name is clean in the customs system).

Usually your country of origin doesn't stamp your passport on re-entry - there's no need to you are a citizen

This shouldn’t be a problem. I did a lot of traveling to UK and Asia and don’t have any stamps for reentering the US. I submitted my passport with the I-129F for proof of having met. So as long as they see you were in the same country at the same time it shouldn’t matter if you don’t have reentry stamps to your own country.

Interesting. I'm a USC and I don't have any entry stamps into the USA in my passport from any of my trips abroad.
