Hi, I'm totally confused and beg for some..input. I'm American citizen through naturalization.

I went to Romania, met my fiancee, came back and just finished my K1 package. I intended to send it to USCIS this weekend.

Now, my fiancee just called me that today she passed some exams with an american recruiter and already got a contract for 2 years, to come to U.S.A. and work through an H1B visa.

I was thrilled at the beginning that she will be here in less than 2 months. Now I started having second thoughts.

Can I marry her while she's here with a H1B visa?? Does she need to go back to Romania after the contract finishes and wait there for a K3 visa, assuming we get married here prior? Is there any adjustment that can be done with USCIS? Should I talk with a lawyer??

I would really appreciate an answer. THANKS.

By far.... H1B... It is dual intent... you can marry and adjust to LPR from H1B here wthout her going home

I agree you should use the H1B. My fiance is a Nurse in the Philippines and about to take the NCLEX for US nursing but we used a Fiance Visa because it was fater for us because she didnt have a job sponser yet
