Hello VJ members!

Im getting anxious and inpatient how are y'all!?

I was wondering if anyone had some info regardin ghow long does NVC take to send out ur packet once they have recieved it!?

I called today and they have it already YAY that was fast, but i was wondering how long does it take them to process it and send it out?!?!!

Any experiences please share!

Peru people ! Once this gets to the lima's embassy they send it to ur fiance's from there!? what experiences have u had !?

Visa I 130 for Step Daughter

Sept 2010-- Getting documents ready. sent BC out for translation.

March 1st 2012-- Sent documents to USCIS

June 15th 2012 EMAIL OF APPROVAL !!

Dec 15th 2012 -- Interview scheduled ( 1-23-2013)

Jan 9th 2013--Medical Exam

It took abot 2 weeks from the time NVC received the packet and the Embassy in Lima got it. After that I think it took about another week from the Embassy to Isa's door. Now everything will move very fast and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Let us know if you have any questions regarding the process. It is not very difficult on our end but your fiancee will have to get a lot of this done on his end like police reports, medical exam, etc. Check out the comments in the embassy reviews and POE sections, they were very helpful. Good Luck!

AOS Journey

July 1. .. . . . . sent AOS packet

July 9. . . . . . . .NOA for I485; I131; I765 issued

July 14 . .. .. . . . NOA hardcopies rec'd

July 30 . . . . . . .. .update on CRIS transfer to CSC

Aug. 5. . . . . ... . . .Biometrics appt. in Dallas

Aug. 21. .. . . . . .. . .AOS touched

Aug. 22 . .. . . . . . . . .AOS touched (again--what's happening over there)

Sept. 2 . . . . . . . . . . . AP approved (dated on letter--case was never viewable online)

Sept. 4 . . . . . . . . . . . E-mail from CRIS EAD card production (Hubby is so excited!!!)

Sept. 5 . . . . . . . . . . . Touch on EAD

Sept 6 . . . . . . . . . . . . AP hardcopy surprised us in the mail!

Sept. 11 . . .. . . . . . . . EAD card arrived (the same day that Keeb got a job offer!! woot!!)
