I have no plans of stalking the ex. He's safe. I'm crazy but not that crazy. What's the temp in LA? Travel buddy? Sure, we can be like Thelma & Louise :) Heck, I'll even get a tattoo. :lol:

Tagine and latte, AND pooches? Your hubby have any single friends? LA could be on the way....

Last year at this exact time, I had to choose between Jordan and Florida. (should have chose florida) This is what Chicago-ans do in the winter, we go south like the geese. I seriously have no idea yet where I am going. I have dysfunctional family in S Carolina, but that don't sound like much fun. Sitting on a beach with a good book---yea. That's it.

Jackie if you want to come to Florida.. I will help you ( sometimes seeing what happened to people and what they are doing hint hint...will give you some closure) If not I can take off work and go to Epcot with you or at least show you Orlando on your way to Miami.

If you are intending on popping in to see your ex, while I do not condone it, I DO understand it. People get closure different ways.... And Yes... believe it or not I understand... No matter what,,,,,, hang in there. Have you thought about a cheap cruise out of canaveral? It could be tons of fun... I can help you with great prices and ideas... What about the carribean, bahamas or key west?

If you help Jackie go visit HIM, you are both in for a butt chewing from Jenn!

Well, we had a little cold front last nite, so hi today is 55, but next week (Tu, We, Th) is looking at sunny w/ hi of upper 60's/low 70's and lows of hi 40's/low 50's. It should be lovely next week!

Jackie the BEST vacation I've ever had was on the Caribbean Princess with my sister. We had a BLAST!!! I say recruit someone for a last minute short cruise to the bahamas and let it all hang out! :dance::dance:

I had this wicked weird dream last night that I was head over heels with this foreign guy but everytime we kissed I wanted to barf because his breath was so frikkin' disgusting!!!!! I was thinking about it in the car on the way to work and I remembered that I had a few cheese sticks before I went to bed. Must have been my own breath I was dreaming about. :lol::lol::lol: I was really sad in the dream though because I had to dump him and I really loved him but I just couldn't handle his breath.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Oh.......I hope so too. Keep us informed, this is so exciting!!

Our timeline:

September 29, 2005.......met online.

October and November 2006......was in Egypt with my sweetie.

November 1, 2006......We were married.

December 2006........I-130 filed

January 2007...........I-129 filed

April 2007................I-130 and I-129 approved

June 14, 2007.........Visa interview completed

December 2, 2007.....Home interview

February 12, 2008........Second interview

February 26, 2008....I was called by the embassy and was given a short interview over the phone and was told that my case will be moved forward and someone would contact my husband soon to send in his passport.

March 2, 2008......My husband was contacted by the embassy to send in his passport.

March 3, 2008......Passport sent by DHL.

March 4, 2008......Embassy received the passport.

March 18, 2008......VISA IN HAND!!! YEAH!!

August 15, 2008....filed I-485 adjustment of Status and I-765...Employment Authorization

October 14, 2008.....I-765...Employment Authorization approved, card received 1 month later.

January 15, 2009......Adjustment of Status interview for green card...approved!!! Received green card two weeks later.
