Timeline

I love reading all the timelines on here, and cant wait to put all my dates in mine, but now I wonder, how good does it work. Mine now tells me "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated as early as August 19, 2008", how good does that work, how many got approved around that time, ahead or later? I know, I'm not really patient, and I just can't wait to be with him again, and get everything over with, and set a date for our wedding. Even I just got back from Cleveland last week, it feels like forever already, but since then, I spend a lot of time on here

It wasn't very accurate for me. I filed in June of 2007 and my adjudicated date had September. It wasn't till the end of November that My papers were finally going to the NVC and then it was like a rollercoaster ride how fast things moved after that. 2 weeks to the Embassy and by mid December I had the medical and interview date for Feb. We just got our Visa yesterday and now it'll be a few weeks till we hold each other again.

The massive influx of July filers really screwed up the timeline averages, and they probably won't be accurate for another 6-10 months. This is partially because the timelines are calculated on historical data, and partially because USCIS are still digging themselves out of the last of the influx, so it'll take them time to get predictable again.

We are a July filer and still no noa 2. We have been waiting for 7 months, and nothing new. And my fiance even talked to a representative and she said so many July and August filers and everything is soo busy, so just be patient and wait. Well, but once this crazy thing is over, you might be approved much earlier than August.

The VJ timeline worked very good for my case approval. It's only varied +- 1 day. So, it's best than have not nothing to get an idea about the approval date

I got approved a week later than what VJ estimated so i would say VJ is pretty accurate and USCIS is still trying to dig them self out from July and August filers. By the way I am an August filer and I got my NOA2 on FEB 06 so hang in there because you have just started the waiting game and u never know you might get yours way sooner than that.

Good Luck and Welcome to VJ.
