Hi Vega1x1,

:star: Congratulations, Vega1x1 for getting your 10yr Green Card!!! :star:

After such a long 11 month wait, you deserve it! It's good to know that the VSC is doing something, even if it takes a long long time. Too bad though, you couldn't get a refund for the I-751, as you only have the 10yr card for a short time now.

Oh well, onto the next stage of citizenship for you, Vega1x1!

Good luck too on your Citizenship application and the rest of your immigration journey!

P.S. As for the e-mail being late, maybe it's just a computer system automated e-mail, whereby they send all their e-mails late at night. Either that, or they are indeed working overtime, which means perhaps more applications are being approved quicker?

Thanks everybody. I got the same e-mail this morning again. Anyway who knows how their batch e-mails are scheduled. I work in IT and I have never seen such a pathetic system. Not to mention their miserable web interface, password change problems that I have had to deal with etc. Anyway, today is not the day to complain !!

By the way, how long does it take between the reception of the e-mail to the reception of the card...? I hope they put the right address on that and don't send it to somebody else in the building like they did my BIO appt letter.

i have to say, far less stressful than any step so far.

i'll not hold my breath for any action by the looks of things tho! :lol:

Can we get added to this waiting list? We sent off the application and evidence today, 08-27-08 to the Vermont Service Center. It looks like we'll be waiting ...and waiting.
