HOW DO U REQUEST TAX TRANSCRIPT

IVE SENT A FAX REQUEST ALREADY BY USING IRS FORMS BUT ITS BEEN PAST 3 WEEKS NO UPDATE YET.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

DO YOU THINK I MAKE ANOTHER REQUEST? WHICH IS FASTER AND SURE THEY WILL GET MY REQUEST? (FAX,MAIL, CALL AN AGENT)

HAVING A HARD TIME TO FILL UP THE FORM, CAN SOMEBODY WALK ME THRU, TO FILL UP THE REQUEST TAX TRANSCRIPT PLEASE?

i called 1-800-829-1040 and had all 3 yrs in about a week free of charge.

when i called i asked for my tax return transcripts for the last 3 yrs. from what i read here i only have to submit the past yr(2007), but i figure it cant hurt to have the past three years just in case. i will send them all to my fiancée and if they are not needed then she can tares them. better over prepared than under.

i suggest you ask your husband to talk to them, they might have reservations on releasing the information you need if the one requesting it is not the actual taxpayer--they might not have a way of verifying your relationship over the phone. Goodluck!

Same here. I called Feb 29th, and received them in the mail today (2004-2006)

2007 won't be availbale for at least a couple months on transcript.
