Hello there.

My fiance has his interview in a few hours OH MY GOD! Okay and I wondering for those who have been approved and traveled to the US recently through JFK:

Did they ask for a work permit stamp?

Did they get it?

Since my fiance will be tranferring to Seattle from JFK...how long did the process take in NY immigration?

I do not want him to miss his connecting flight and be stuck in NY overnight or anything.

Thank you!

Crissy

Best Regards,

Crissy

Most people seem to leave a few hours between connections. I think the time to get through NY immigration would depend on how many other immigrants are coming in at the time.

When is the interview?

Since my fiance will be tranferring to Seattle from JFK...how long did the process take in NY immigration?

I went through JFK this past September, got the EAD work permit stamp.

I had a 4 hour layover between the flights, that was more than enough.

I had 4 and everytime I was waiting for my connection flight there was ALWAYS delay.

I ended up having like a 6 hour layover,it was terrible.
