Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

I believe the song you are thinking of is called Rock and Roll Part 2 by Gary Glitter.

I loved to sing to that after my favourite OHL team would score when I was a kid (Oshawa Generals...my friend's dad drove the zamboni so we'd get in for free). But after I learned the name of the song, who sang it, and what he actually looked like? Song just wasn't the same afterwards

Here's what I came up with.Rock & Roll Part 2 by Gary Glitter. I agree with J&K, this one is popular at all levels of hockey. Kernkraft by Zombie Nation. This one gets played very frequently at the ACC and Bell Centre. Very techno. Get Ready For This by 2 Unlimited. Very popular at all levels of hockey. It could even be Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye) by Steam. There are a few others but it most likely is one of these. Please let us know if we have guessed correctly.

J&K, I thought the fact that Gary Glitter was into kiddie porn turned you off. :(

Thanks!!

Had no idea it was Gary Glitter- after all the child porn charges, I personally have no interest in ever hearing that song again.

I can separate Glitter's acts from the song. To me the song is more about hockey than it is the person who created it at this point.

If I recall correctly Gary Glitter was under investigation for kiddie porn in the UK and he went overseas and got caught trying to have sex with children.

BTW, Flames9, Jerome Iginla's favourite song this spring will be "Vacation." Don't worry, we'll let you join in with the other Leafs' fans in singing "We Are The Champions" as Captain Mats Sundin hoists Lord Stanley's mug. :P

By the trade deadline,Sundin isnt going to be a Leaf, I bet he is traded to the canucks! But he wil only be a rental and wil return inthe summer, as he is a free agent after this season!!

And I do agree its a lot of money the flames are spitting out for players, maybe to omuch, but its nice to see Cdn teams doing that, prior to the new contract, that wasnt usually possible!! The players become good, the Cdn team could not afford them, thus they bolted to a USA team!! Calgary is 2nd in the northwest 1 pt behind minnesota and Edmonton is in LAST!! But I would like to see ALL cdn teams in the playoffs, even toronto.

You are right. That is the song.

Hey, I remember the first OHL game my dad took me to was against the Oshawa Generals. My team is the Windsor Spitfires.

The best after a goal music has to be in Halifax. At least when I was there in 2002. They'd play bagpipes and I'm sure it was my old regimental song from the militia.

I HATE miles, gallons, pints, words spelled without u's, and all that other jazz...
