Hey all.

I am just wanting to double check that after sending out the Packet 3 to the US Embassy, I do not need to do anything else to get an interview?

And also, on a previous post I made, I was asking about the number to check on your visa process, the only information I got was that it was still pending and they do not hold information on my interview date etc.

I assume there is no other way to check on the progress of my case?

After sending packet three, there is nothing else you need to do. Depending on the consulate, most of them will send you a packet 4 letting you know the interview date and any documents you need to bring with you.

You can email the consulate to see if they have given you an interview date or to at least make sure they received your packet 3.

THeres nothing you can do besides emailing the consulate (providing your case number in the subject line of the email) and ask them if they received your returned packet3 and ask for them to give you an interview date because you need to start making travel arrangments thats what we did

The thing is, I have done this and I got an automated email reply from the Embassy explaining my Email was deleted without being read.

So I don't know how to contact them on this matter.

You might still get reply to your email to the USEmbassy. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and also had automated reply that email was deleted. To my surprise I received reply to my query 1 week later

O.o guess it isn't "automatically deleted" then lol.

Well, I sent 3 emails, one never got a reply to in terms of being deleted (was sent nearly 2 weeks ago), and 2 today (the difference being one said Case Number: ##############, the other saying just the case number, not "Case Number:")

Hi,

Just to let you know, I sent back my P3 to London on 10th January, 6 days before you, and received my interview date (February 21st) in the post this Friday just gone, so I am sure yours is on the way, and I imagine your date will be sometime in late February, early March.

Just to let you know, as someone on here told me, you can call the US Department of state to find out if you have been issued an interview date yet. They told me on Wednesday, so only a couple of days before i got P4, but its good to be ahead of the game!

Ha, you were so right.

"Thank you for your e-mail correspondence. The Immigrant Visa Unit have scheduled your K-1 visa interview for February 26, at 9:00am. Written confirmation of the date and time will be sent out to you shortly."

That was a reply from the Embassy the same day I emailed them.

All I did was put this as subject: "Case Number: ############"

One month today I will be at the Embassy! So exciting
