Mike and this guy he works with went for a hamburger for lunch the other day at a place called....I think it is - 5 guys?

He said it is the best hamburger he has had in North America!

We went to 5 Guys in Altamonte Springs. It was an American version of Licks.... if you know what Licks is, of course. :lol: My honest opinion? I didn't care for it. And the grease that they made the fries in had long needed changing. :dead: The woman who whipped out her ####### to feed her baby kind of threw me off also. :lol:

The best burger I have had in Florida is from Backyard Burger, also in Altamonte.

here is a vid of the chili cheese fries at The Hat.. ours didn't have pastrami on it though... but it did have the pickles and the tomato..

Oh my Lord! You could feed a family of 5 on that! :lol: No wonder you didn't finish it!

Yum, we went out for dinner tonight. I had stuffed fillet of flounder Florentine with mixed vegetables, baked potato and salad. Joe had this humungous chicken pot pie - brought half of it home for lunch Tomorrrow. I'm stuffed!

I take that back. The best burger I have had is from the golf course Clubhouse where we live. I think I may take my husband there for Father's Day. Maybe go to the driving range first.

Tonight we are having seafood alfredo.

well, no idea yet what we're having for dinner but right now we are enjoying Habitant pea soup that my Dad brought down when he visited earlier this year for lunch. Yum - I just love this stuff and miss it. There's nothing here in the States anywhere near as good.
