I am going to barbecue some hot dogs and serve them with our favourite pasta salad that I picked up while grocery shopping

Snausages, baby potatoes - roasted and salad.

Umm I was cooking 3 sausages and two of them rolled off the bbq and on to the ground.

We are splitting one sausage - pretty slim pickins.

My ex-husband just started laughing and said, well, you LOSE! I said, what do you mean? He said, well, if you think I'm sharing any of my supper with you, you're crazy! You're a ditz, yours is on the ground...salvage what you can (yeah right!) but I'm not sharing. And he didn't!!! I was SO mad, I left...just took the car and left. I went to the nearest town and got a motel room. I was fuming.

:o

Holy mackerel, Carla. What a loser. I'm glad you left him. Both times. LOL

Last night we had beef shiskabob, garlic butter rice, and greek salad. I had lots of leftover sirloin from the shiskabobs so tonight we are having beef stew.

At least Mike insisted I take the whole remaining snausage - but I insisted we share it  That's why you're both so special. :luv:

Leftovers tonight.... Sometimes I hate having to wait until 9 to eat dinner, that's what time Glen comes home and I like eating dinner together plus I don't want to cook twice. I get so hungry before that so I'm munching on carrots right now trying to send the hunger away

I didn't feel like cooking tonight so I ordered take out from a Caribbean restaurant up near the start of our subdivision. So, I am having goat curry with peas and rice, salad and fried plantains, and Joe is having steamed ox-tail in spices with peas and rice, salad and fried plantains. They are in the oven staying warm right now!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Oh wow. That sounds fantastic. We don't have any West Indian restaurants around here. :(

I ended up having a greek salad and my husband had beef stew. I'm pretty hungry again. LOL
