When mine cooks, he makes a HUGE mess. I am always around him with a sponge and cleaner wiping up after him. He also uses every single pot in the house and pretty much every utensil, I am also behind him doing dishes, so that after dinner there's not a huge pile waiting for me.

When I cook--i do the dishes at the same time!! Drives my wife nuts,lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

hubby is so boring :P

I was trying to think of what to make for dinner and I thought of chili sgetti using the canned chili which my hubby had mentioned that he had wanted to try ... so I ask hubby and he says he would rather have chili dogs :P we have chili dogs almost once a week :P

well during the week I cook meals without asking him what he wants so I figured I would give him some choice on the weekends :P ...lol

Oh, this is my husband too - I wonder if they specially train to do this or if it is just a genetic thing (VBG!)

We're kind of having a variation of left overs. Joe made a pot of pinto beans yesterday - and he can't remember he is only cooking for 2 - not 20! So we had beans last night, beans for lunch, beans tonight - along with sliced ham, cabbage, pita bread and sliced tomatoes. He will also have beans for lunch tomorrow, beans for dinner tomorrow night and possibly he will have beans for lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Since I am not a big 'bean' person I think it is only fair that I leave the majority of them for him :lol: !

Tonight's dinner was leftovers from last night's meal ..... we went to an Italian restaurant before the theater and it was DELICIOUS!!! Hubby and I shared steamed mussels in a white wine sauce. I had pasta with wild mushrooms in a wine and cream sauce. Hubby had shrimp Puttanesca or, as the menu said, prostitute shrimp. I think hubby ordered it mainly for the name, but it was tres yummy!!! I do love puttanesca sauce, I am a huge capers fan ... and I stole some of hubby's shrimp!

We ordered pizza last night, ensuring we ordered EARLY due to the 90 minute delivery wait time! Anyway it was ONLY 60 minutes last night.

Also, they didn't have any Ham. I have had many pizzas in my life, I have never had a pizza place tell me they are out of ham - I believe the Lake Mary pizza hut has a few customer service issues.

Actually I ordered on their website, but that got hung up - long story short I had to call them...the conversation started like this:

Him: ThankyouforcallingpizzahutmynameisJOSHhomeoftuscanipasta alsdkjflskf;alkdjf;lakjfl;dkfjldkjf how can i help you?

Me: Wow Josh, you talk really fast :lol:

I'm terribly frustrated by the fast talking here because, combined with the regional accents, I can't understand a word they are saying. Well.... maybe one or two words, but not enough to string them together to form a realistic picture of what they are trying to say.

Its heart clogger night, going to be making homemade fries and fried chicken tonight....then going out for a loooong jog.

I say that now, but I probably won't jog. :lol: Oh well.
