wow, 5 guys!! crazy!!!

Actually, really enjoy their burgers and fries, yummy

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Slow cooker meal tonight!! Super easy roast!! throw in some carrots, 3 potatoes cubes, few celery stalks chopped up,, onion all diced up, 1 or 2 pkgs of dry onion soup mix 1 or so cups of water, sal/pepper to taste and 8-10 hrs in slow cooker!! too easy!!

Flames, flames, flames.

It should read:

Going to make a slow cooked dinner tonight, I'll be prepping all the garden vegetables this morning to make sure they are ready to go in, once that is done i'll pick out some spices to add.

Need to get together the wet ingredients after that. After i've browned the roast etc etc etc.

It does sound too easy, you need to work on that :hehe:

Oh and the pizza hut pizza last night was just awful. We ordered 2 medium, first was hawaiian, I did eat a piece after scraping off most of the topping and the second was the stuffed crust pepperoni, which wasn't quite as bad.

Oh, ya, I did brown the roast first!! carrots were the smal ones in the pkg, so just emptied into slow cooker, lol Was a tense 5 minute prep job I tell ya!!

I dislike Pizza hut, too greasy!! Prefer Dominos, and now Dominos has pizza tracker!! U can track ur pizza being made! Even states the names of people doing the job,lol They say its accurate within a few minutes!

Yes, the pepperoni one was really greasy, I was thinking I haven't seen a pizza like this except on television shows, they always seem to have greasy pizza.

Anyhoo, I prefer dominos too! That's funny about the pizza tracker.

stirfried chicken with vegetables and rice in a teriyaki peanut sauce - quick and easy

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

We had Five Guys Burgers & Fries  but OHHHH so yummy!

The Five Guys "by" us (45 mins away) was #######. I was so disappointed because I'd heard a lot about them. OH!!! And to top it all off!!!.... there was a woman who sat down at the table next to us, whipped out her ####### in front of her extended family and every patron in the place, and proceeded to breastfeed her child without any modicum of propriety. UnbeLIEVable.

Anywho.... we had spaghetti last night. Tonight I think we'll have salmon and asparagus. And maybe some rice. I'm not sure yet. It'll either be rice or roasted peppers. Hmmm. Maybe rice. lol

Ok, good idea, we are going to have spaghetti with garlic bread for dinner.

When I make spaghetti I just use a jar of sauce - will probably add some peppers and onions - but no meat. It's the 'vegetarian' meal. I used to put ground beef in it, but I don't anymore.
