Hello everbody. I need some advice and commets please on several questions. My soon to be wife has her app. date and time for the medical exam. If I am reading some of the post here she can just walk in for the medical as long as she has a copy of her app. date and the rest of her paper work with her.????. Her app. for the medical is Feb 25. Her interview at Emabssey is March 3 should or do I need to be there with her at the interview?? I would like to be there with her. But with my luck the day she has her interview they will give her another interview date. Any comments or ideals would be a great help. Thanks

yes, your fiance can go to her medical before the scheduled date. as you have mentioned, she should bring a copy of her appointment letter. attending the interview with your fiance is a matter of personal situations and choice. if you decide to attend the interview with her, it's very likely the date would be changed, unless there is some problem at the medical.

that's a reason to have the medical early. if there are any problems, hopefully they could be cleared up before the interview date.

For her medical exam at SLEC, she only needs her appointment letter (original and a photocpy) and to bring at least 3 ID pictures (2x2), passport and payments for the medical exam. She can have her medical done earlier than the schedule of Feb. 25, so if they will find some problems, she will still have ample time before the interview.

Although it is not a requirement for you to be there. . . . BUT If you can go to Manila for her interview, then that will also be a "plus factor". That's the best proof of a bonafide relationship --> your presence to support her during her interview. She needs to bring all the necessary documents for the interview. Good Luck to you both!

once you received the appointment letter, it is IDEAL to have the medical examination in advance of the specified schedule. So in case some problem arises, at least there will be an ample time to settle it. BUT TAKE NOTE, not to exceed A MONTH in advance from the interview date..

Regarding the interview date..ITS NOT REALLY A REQUIREMENT THAT PETITIONER WILL JOIN THE APPLICANT, although having the petitioner on that date will give confidence to the applicant & at the same time , i would say "AN ADVANTAGE" ..if in case some are deciding to have petitioner join in interview date, its HIGH chance to get approve in VISA PICK-UP REQUEST.. just in case the applicant will be traveling together with petitioner in going back to US.

hope this help.. :)
