hey all,

did anybody have problems getting the condition removed not including an affidavit? i know it is not required, but i don't know how much it really weighs.

we have statement of a joint bank account, covenant marriage certificate (converted after green card was issued), car title, car registration, new house purchase last year, health insurance (all with both our names on them), numerous boarding passes, joint tax return, plenty of credit card/utility bills, and a couple of pictures.

isn't that enough???

there are a lot of people who sent in their package without affidavits and didn't get a RFE... I was one of those people... I think if you have enough other evidence you don't need the affidavits...

I've read here quite a few times that couples do not send them. Good Luck on your journey.

We chose to skip the affidavits as well. We felt our other evidence was strong enough -- names on deed for condo, joint property tax bills, joint IRS returns, joint car insurance, joint car registration, joint bank accounts, and joint credit accounts (not to mention pictures, etc).

Even though we had plenty of other evidence, we chose to go ahead and send the affidavits. We figured they could only help our case. I have no idea what weight they carried with the adjudicator, but our case was approved within two months of having been received by CSC.

All I can say is use your best judgement. Maybe go ahead and submit without affidavits and only send them if you get a request for additional evidence.

We did not send any with our I-751. We moved cross country 1 year after the LPR was granted and so there were a lot of people who'd seen us during the first year in one place, and alot who'd seen us during the second year in the other place, but no one who'd seen us regularly over the whole two year period like it asks for.

It was approved in about 5 months with no RFEs or interviews.
