I read atleast one writeup that says that you can get your vaccinations at the time of the medical at St. Lukes and the fee for them is included in the medical costs.

Someone told me in another forum that this is incorrect, however thye are in the process of a K1 from a different country than the Philippines so their knowledge may not be correct.

So, I am asking those who have already gone through this process.

Is this true?

Can you get the vaccinations at St. Lukes?

If yes, are they included in the fee or are they extra?

Thanks.

Marc

yes, they are included in the cost of the medical at St. Lukes. however, the TD shot is not available. you'll need it for your AOS. don't worry, it's readily available in the USA.

Thanks. I just found the writeup I originally read. The guy who said it was not including is going through the process in Frankfurt. I have been telling Charry for months now that she doesn't need them because she can get them at the medical. now with the medical/interview about a month away I'm really nervous and the smallest thing will set me off..

people going thru other embassys will often speak from their own experiences. that's why it's good to post in a Philippine Forum, like here on VJ.

a common misconception I see when advise is given by someone not going thru Manila, concerns single mom's and child custody.

your getting close to the end of your journey. best of luck with the interview.

The vaccinations are included in the medical fee so better take advantage of it. They (St. Lukes) will actually ask your finacee if she wants to have the vaccines there or here in the US so tell her to have it done there. That way, when she's here, you don't have to pay for those, just for the shots that are not available in the Philippines (i.e. Td shots).

Congratulations for making it this far! Way to go!
