I am well today. I'm just coocooning in my bedroom watching Nigerian movies. My relatives have all left Brooklyn for the weekend to attend my cousin's wedding. It was too costly for me to go, so I sent my daughter (she's in Philly) to represent me. :crying: How is it for you teaching in NYC? I recall is was tough 20 years ago so I can only guess it might be more challenging now.

Mmmmmm.... African movies..that should make you fee better :star: Sorry you couldn't make the wedding -_-

As for teaching in New York...I teach in District 75 (self-contained special education), and I work with children with autism. My kids are 6 and 7 years old. So, I am really not with the mainstream. Although it is still challenging working in D75. D75 deals with children with emotional disturbance, autism, mental retardation, severe learning disabilities and the like.

I love my kids :):luv:

Oh my Gosh!! I used to monitor District 75 back in 2000 until I had my daughter in 02 then I headed north. I worked for SEQA for the state and monitored the juvenile "facilities" in da Bronx and District 75. How wierd! I mostly had meetings with CSE Chairs and Administrators though. We rarely met with teachers.

I had a client I had to give massage treatments to that looks like that fury creature.

:o :o :o :o Did you get ill?

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
