Hi!

Pls help us with our I-134.

What is our household size if my fiance (USC) has no dependents (he has no dependents on his Income Tax Return) but he lives with his mom, 1 sister and 1 brother, all of them has work and independent.

According to this site: link

Your household size includes you, your dependents, any relatives living with you, and the immigrants you are sponsoring

Since "all relatives living with you" is mentioned, do we still have to consider his mom, sister and brother on the household size even if they don't depend on my fiance and earn their own money?

Hope you could help us on this. Our interview is on Feb 4 and this household issue is making me sad..

I wouldn't include anyone that I wasn't claiming as a deduction for tax purposes.

speaking of form i-134, the counting is based on the number of dependents listed on the petitioner's tax return. even if he lives with his mom or sisters at the same house and they are not his dependents, then, they should not be counted for computing the poverty line.

while statistically speaking, household size is composed of the number of members in a household.
