Weird CRIS activity

I received yesterday, and email from CRIS(USCIS) saying that the approvalice for our I-129f has been sent... the thing is, we got the notice of approval for both the I-130 and the I-129f in early november and they were both dated oct. 31st.

I've sent my packet 3 to the Montreal Consulate, and I've recieved 2 email confirmation from the Consulate saying that I have my interview date scheduled for Feb. 08. Im still waiting to the mail copy of my interview letter though.

So why is all this activity going on in the USCIS Case Status online portfolio ?

Anyone else having weird activity ? Are they just finally updating their data online, or do they somehow have 2 different copies of our file ? oO

I'd just chalk it up to 'system functioning slowly' - the email system is automated and seems to 'catch up' now and then, sending sometimes duplicate (or more) notices.

Others in the K1 forum have reported getting similar e-mails. I wouldn't worry about it :)

That means there is potential for me to finally receive the missing approval emails (24th October) After all, they're only 3 months late already
