The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

But I still have so much to see in the UK that 3 whole days at the cricket seems 2 days too many!

Hmmm I can kinda understand... but still... sitting in the sunshine with a nice cold drink on the green with your husband... watching the cricket (I actually happen to come from a bit of a cricketing family so like *and* understand it... just not the 20 year long test matches)

Agreed!!! I *love* pimms... although it never quite gets you drunk... needs to have cucumber, strawberry and mint in it as well to make it proper :D Mmmmm :)

but what about getting my picture taken next to the Penny Lane street sign in Liverpool?

Ok - I'm with you on that ;) That and finding a few friends to go to Abbey Road and mock up the album cover :lol:

I think we'll stick to one day of the 3 day cricket! Afterall, I need time to get to Blackpool and ride the coaster!

One day is all you'll need!

The great thing about cricket is how you can just turn up and any time and watch for any length of time. It's not exactly a sport where you have to sit and watch the entire match.

I love Pimms too. Haven't had it in months and months, though.
