Yes - on multiple occasions! Yech!!!!!

That's fair enough. It gets to me when people bad mouth haggis when they haven't even tried it, because of what its made of. Yet same people have no problems eating chickens, lamb etc...

That said..I do laugh at the tourists that visit Scotland, that pay big bucks to go on hunts to find wild Haggis. I actually met a group in the hills once, I did my bit by pointing them in the direction I last saw some hiding in the trees.

A chicken breast/rack of lamb is not quite the same as eating the lungs, liver & heart packaged all neatly in an intestine (read: colon) of those animals.

I hope it doesn't smell up the house like turkey soup does.

Who are you going to dig up to eat it with anyways?

Have any of you tried real haggis? :P

Why would we?

That's very true. I can't stand Mexican food, I have no idea how people can eat that stuff, its bloody revolting.

Who are you going to dig up to eat it with anyways?

We should email all our friends, see who fancies it! The less the better, as that means more for me!

I think it would be a quiet evening with just you and the haggis. Hell my friends and I will be at the Micholan Cafe eating guacamole to our hearts content!

MMmm, the Eton FR400 looks really nice. Now I'm considering it. Although I did see one which didn't have the cell phone charger or NOAA stations, but did have a solar panel, which might be a better fit for here.

Ginger, you've inspired me! I put on my workout gear, sat around in it for about 5 hours, and finally, I just did 40 mins of excercise. Sure it's no marathon, but if I can just do that 3 times a week...

Just a note, it doesn't come with the charger adapter. You have to go online and register and say what cell phone you have so they can send you the right attachment. I usually hate filling out that stuff but I feel like I only had to say where and when I bought it then chose the style of my phone and the adapter arrived in the mail a week or two later.

Have any of you tried real haggis? :P

I have. I used to work with a Scottish woman who would make it on St. Andrew's day. It wasn't bad. I've had much worse things in the philippines :P

Have biometrics today and found out that the USCIS buidling is right next to a huge mall :innocent: I think we are going to make a day of it and borrow some money from our savings account :)

Is it the Galleria at Tyler? It's one of the malls the company I work for owns...and ironically I'm going to start doing some work on that region (was just reviewing the plans earlier this morning...not a posh mall but it does have a HUGE H&M and a Metropark).

Tis indeedy that mall :D We bought stuff :D

Anyway you can steer here to talk about a more neutral subject, such as cats?

Ok - we got a three month old rescue kitty on the way home and now my other cat hates me - they kinda met - the little guy puffed himself up as big as he could get which isn't very big at all and growled a bit in a squeaky way. My cat just watched him for a bit and miaowed in a weird way. The little guy was fine when he was playing but as soon as he looked up and saw Daisy he puffed up again. I was stroking Daisy and she was ok but then she miaowed and swiped at me. She's gone outside now and the little guy is tearing through the house playing with anything he can lay his little paws on.

Dunno if anyone has and ideas on how to make the transition smoother?
