Hey all.

Today I have sent off the following to the US Embassy to resume the K1 process:

DS-156 (2x) (and not signed, did I do both of those right?)

DS-156K

DS-157

DS-230 Part I (page 1 and 2 are filled out, page 3 and 4 are blank, did I do that right?) (This was the only form that I did sign, did I do that right?)

And the Checklist back saying we are ready for our interview.

I assume I did not need to send anything else out for this part of the stage?

Thanks for any replies/advice/help :)

Oh and P.S.

Anyone that has had an approved K1 visa from the US Embassy in London in the past 3 months, what was the time scale between mailing back out your packet and getting your interview date?

Thanks

Good luck to you. Looks like your well prepared.

Thank you, I believe we are fully prepared.

We have the following ready to show in terms of support for the interview:

- 2 notarized I-134s (one being a Co-Sponsor form)

- Receipts of things like: meals, gifts bought for eachother, things for our scrapbook like Cameras etc

- Bank statements

- Payslips

- Police clearance record

- Birth certificate

- Copies of every form we have sent to the USCIS, Embassy etc, and copies of our petition

- NOA1, NOA2, NVC approval letter

- Vaccination records

- Phone bills (text and phone calls)

- Emails

- Chat logs

- Affidavit of support to marry from my parents

- Letter of intent to marry (from my fiancee, July 3rd and a new one, January 16th)

- Letter of intent to support (from the petitioners mom + step dad, explaining how they will fully support me and house me)

- Passport stamps

- Flight documents (January 1st 2007, April 24th 2007 for me flying to America to be with petitioner) (November 24th for petitioner flying to England to be with me)

- Tickets of places visited

- Tax transcripts (W2s)

And a couple of other things which I can't remember off the top of my head, but is very safe in my heavy safe.

And what we believe to be our strongest support of a strong relationship, our gigantic 50+ page scrapbook, with over 100 pictures of eachother, in America and England, since we first met up until now and more is added daily.

I would say in my point of view, we are as prepared as we can be.

Would like to know if anything else can be added just in case or if anything else is NEEDED.

Thanks

You're screwing up the curve for the rest of us though! :P My fiance has to go through the London embassy too, when we get that far, and we have SIX (very bad too) pictures of us together. Not good xD And certainly not...meal receipts, god xD

They didn't even look at any of our ongoing relationship evidence, so I wouldn't worry!

I must say looking at huge lists like this just makes me realise how much footwork there is still to do - think I have become complacent in the 6 months it took to process the I-129f!!!

Can anyone here remember the Embassy asking to see pictures/phone logs/chat logs at interview recently? Just wondering...

I wasn't asked for any proof of an ongoing relationship, I took a whole load of evidence to the interview and ended up carting it round London for the day.

Looking back at the packet 3 it doesn't ask for proof of an ongoing relationship yet we all take it, don't know why  Its certainly not on the checklist. Better safe than sorry I suppose.

That's what I thought too -- I had photocopies of wedding cards, our wedding invitation, photos of us and our families together. Not a lot, but I brought it anyway. Packet 3 is silent, as you say... But I think we just get so neurotic!
