NSO Birth Certificate, is red ribbon needed?

My question is simple.

Is the Red Ribbon needed for the NSO Birth Certificate?

My fiancee had a cousin of hers go through the Visa process already and she got a Red Ribbon on her BC.

Because of this Charry believes that the Red Ribbon is needed. She also thinks the Red Ribbon is needed on her CENOMAR and the NBI Clearance.

I have read a few threads on this already and most say that you just need the documents printed on the official paper. I am asking the question others have asked before again because I want to be 100% sure.

No red ribbon needed..

Besides you still have to go through Documents Verification.. For a charge of 650 pesos..

Red Ribbon not needed..The pre-screener didnt even asked me any civil docs.

Just the regular NSO paper will do.

No red ribbon needed... like what everyone else said, just make sure the NBI clearance, BC and CENOMAR are printed on the official paper.

I wanted the red ribbon on our Marriage Contract, but my wife had to travel to another location to get the ribbon. Such is life. As previously stated, the red ribbon is not neccessary and there is a new NSO document verification fee and process.
